Well having just been down to Sally's, I got White Hot and Candid Moment by RCM. Unfortunately I really wanted "My Favourite Designer" but they didn't have that one. So I decided to take off what I put on yesterday (VERY stupid idea) and re-do it, on the premise that the white tips wouldn't smudge as they would be cured, so no waiting around.... a "ta-da" moment.

SensatioNail again proved nigh-on impossible to remove round the edges where I used the primer. Lots of soaking and buffing later and I was just about there.

Have redone the manicure using NO primer (that stuff's not going anyplace NEAR my nails if I can possibly help it!), the SensatioNail gel base/top coat, RCM White Hot for the tips followed by two thin coats of RCM Candid Moment and then a coat of the gel base/top.

I have to say that I think I was actually happier with how it came out yesterday using the Bourgeios non-LED polish for the tips..... Does anyone else find this, that they re-do something and then wish they'd left it alone?!!

Lol yep the mani I did yesterday is not what I pictured in my head so totally understand! You may also have better luck using RCM top and base coat than the sensationail combo one.

I'm a little late to the party. I use the sensationail kit. I followed the directions the first time. Now I don't use the primer or rough up my nails before applying. The Soak off is easier, but still adheres fairly well. I don't have any more lifting than I did with when I was getting the Shellac manis in the salon. I am planning on switching to the gelish base and top when I can. I am doing fine with my bottle from the starter kit, so i really have to wait until that is done. I cure gelish colors with my light.

Those are really pretty, makes me want to try stamping again. My last few trys didn't go very well.

I know I'm late to the party but Baby Doll Pink is what comes in Sensationails sheer pink french kit. It's a shade lighter than pink chiffon, much sheerer and it's available separately. I like it better than Red Carpet Manicures camera shy or nervous with anticipation because it has more color to it. However my favorite pink for a french manicure so far is Red Carpets I simply love your nails. As far as creating a smile line goes I find using a brush dipped in alcohol to clean up my messy/uneven line much easier than using guides. I have also heard (on Sensationails UK facebook page) that they are coming out with a new white polish fairly soon. Crystal avalanche and wedding pearl are almost white but not truly white.

On another note removal is much easier if you don't use the primer at all. I only use it on the tip of my right thumb. You may also want to try using regular clear polish under the gel polish base coat. That makes removal very easy but reduces wear time by a few days. Hope that helps.

Thank you - will have a look for those pinks. The Candid Moment has almost no colour at all, though it looks like it should - I only used two coats though as i didn't want to overload everything :) This mani has no primer at all, so far it's all good....!

I finally tried out baby doll pink on its own - it's the perfect sheer, cool-toned pink, in my opinion. I'll report back in a few days to let you know if it fades out like Sally Hansen Shell We Dance did.

Baby doll pink is lovely by itself. I recently did four coats of it on my nail wheel just to see how it'd look opaque. I really like it.

I also just got four new colors from Walmart. "Tease me pink" a shocking pink magenta. "Ultimate desire" a reddish orange color that is almost identical to gelish "tiger blossom". "Bombshell beauty" a sparkly jade/pearsain green color and "Art of seduction" which is sparkly apricot pink, very similar to "Amber lights" but a shade darker, more opaque and less yellow toned. I'll post pictures as soon as possible.
