Found a CVS that has the exclusive CVS Beauty Club Sensationail colors! Yay! I got Little Gold Dress, Disco Fever, and Ocean Sparkle (that one was on clearance for $5.99). I may return the Disco Fever- it is more of a gunmetal than a silver frost like I wanted. May exchange it for After Five instead.

Here is my first attempt at a tape mani using Little Gold Dress and Ocean Sparkle. (excuse my unsightly bandaid...I cut myself on the bus this morning).

I haven't tried the french tips yet but there are a lot of complaints about them on the sensationail facebook page.

Ocean sparkle looks real pretty I may just have to get a bottle.;)

Damn that's pretty. I have both, might give that a try.

Has anyone tried the French Manicure kits from Sensationail? I have the sheer pink one. I am having a terrible time with the whie nail tip stickers/strips. After a day the white sticker part is chipping off or peeling up at the sides (under cured top coat). Has anyone else had a problem with these?

I also had a horrible experience with the French tip polish strips. I couldn't get any of them to fit my nails properly and when I tried to file the excess off they would just tear unevenly. I also had chipping/lifting even w cured top coat. I'm usually very good w Polish strips so I dont know what went wrong.

Hey there i have the sensationail. I have a bunch of colors now the coral is very pretty i have it one my toes! the magnetic ones work great thought the silver is more of a black with glitter and the desgin is hard to see. DO NOT get the french manicure kit!!!! buy the gelish white and get stencils and do it that way thier french kit is horrific!! i tried it and the kiss one (just to see) kiss one lasted almost a week before it started to lift the sensational barely got on my nails before the white tips ripped... its a rip off... stick with the polish.

I ordered some gelish im super excited to try it does anyone have suggestions on how long to cure it? I want to switch to using the gelish base, top, ph coats instead of sensational because it is a pain to get it off... i end up soak for 15... scraping with wood stick and soaking the tips or whatever is suck again...

:)
if you have questions about which colors look good let me know :)

I use the Sensationail light and cure Gelish same as Sensationail instructions say, colors full 60 sec double for dark colors. And 30 sec top and base coats hope that helps :) manis always last at minimum 12 days

Awesome thanks! Also what tools do you use to do a french with the gelish i just ordered the white polish, a brush and a sheer pink looking color...
Let me know... Im trying to find better guides... but not having much luck...

I don't know if their are any guides most of us do the bottom coats first then do smile line. Don't cure the white smile line, clean it up with a gel brush dipped in alcohol or dry gel brush first and then cure. For anyone who has tried the sheer pink french mani kit, what's the sheer pink base color like? I'm looking for a sheer, milky pink color, and I wasn't sure if that base color (or one of the new pinks) would fit the bill. I love pink chiffon but it ends up being too pink/dark after 2 coats, so I'm thinking something similar but lighter/more sheer. Thanks!

its really sheer if you put on multiple coats you might get what your looking for Personally im switching to Gelish colors since they have more and cure in the LED light... but whatever you do DO NOT use the french white tips from Sensationail they are awful, they peel up the same day you put them on... multipe people complain to sensationail about it (check the facebook page) and they have no suggestions on what to do... so i just use gelish sheek white and the sheer pink and do my own with a brush...

I agree! They were absolutely dreadful to use. I had better luck with the bliss tips from Sally's but the best wear has been when I take the time to freehand and clean up the smile lines as you suggested.
