Did you get rid of your less designer items?

I kept one Micheal Kors because it's a beautiful color, size and design. I also kept one coach bag because it resembles the first coach bag I bought that got me hooked on Higher end bags but more importantly it was a gift from my hubby when we ran our first and only full marathon. Those are the only 2 contemporary I have now. May sell the MK but never the coach.

I'm taking three purses on Tuesday to the consignment store. I can't wait to get rid of them. I'm so ready for a new bag. The question is what to get next. I can't decide between those on my wishlist.

I got rid of all my Coach bags. I have a few Kate Spade bags that I truly love, but the issue for me is from a tactile point of view. I love the way LV feels - it's soft, supple, smells fantastic, and the hardware is such good quality that the zip feel lovely when I open and close my bags. None of the other brands thrilled me anymore like LV did. So it's not a "brand thing" for me, it's all about feeling.

No because I use all of them from my Chanel to my Dooney. The only ones I don't really use are my vintage Coach bags. A couple are around 30 years old, and there's one that I believe is from the Bonnie Cashin era. All are made in New York.
I don't discriminate. To be honest, I use my MK bags more than my Chanel. If you love something, there's no need to give it away because it cost $200 and not $2000.

Nope. After buying my one preloved Chanel and one preloved LV, I bought three vintage Coach bags to go with the Coach Kristin I already had ... and I'm done. My collection is complete. #bagcontent

I was able to do that for several reasons. I wanted affordable quality (my entire collection cost $1600) and knew vintage Coach leather was DIVINE, especially if in pristine condition, so that's what I went for cos I was happy with only one each of Chanel and LV. My collection is extremely small but huge in quality and diversity, which makes it easy not to lose track of what I have. It also simplifies choosing what bag to wear with what outfit.
