Designer Brands You Will Never Buy

I'm not against any particular designer, but I don't like purses that have logos gratuitously plastered all over, especially when it detracts from the style/aesthetics of the purse. I think a lot of designers have at least a few items in their collection that cater to that crowd--signature logo/print that horribly clashes, but is just there so you know what it is.

I get that people have different tastes, but something like this comes to mind:

(nothing against LV, I don't consider their standard prints gratuitous or unaesthetic--every brand has something like this).

I have a hard time seeing what that is... a fanny pack?

I will never say never if the style or leather is something I like. However, I can't bring myself to buy an actual LV bag nowadays as I don't like logo'ed bags and the leather versions do not feel very luxurious. I've tried...but not feeling the love. I do have an old LV wallet that I've used to death and purchased when I first venture into the bag market. I've recently changed my wallet to another brand. My husband's comment on seeing the new wallet was that it looks much better than the ugly (LV) brown wallet I used carry omg!

Michael Kors. I know other designers get "inspired" by other designers, but he blatantly copies every other high-end designer. It's ridiculous. He copies Chanel, Dior, LV, Prada...I can't stomach it every time I see one of his bags. No offense to anyone who buys his stuff; I've never bought any of his bags so I can't say anything about the quality, etc. but personally I can't buy his stuff on this principle alone.

Oh NO! And I love LV, lol! This is just bad.

I would never buy:
LV--Not my style
Burberry--Novacheck reminds me of a bookbag I had in gradeschool
Gucci--Just don't like
Kate Spade--Too structured
Valentino--Too foo foo
Chanel--Too classy
Juicy Couture--Too trashy
Proenza Schouler-- Quality issues
Hermes--$XXXX- $XX,XXX plus a waiting list? lololol I'm not a chump you know.

If priced more reasonable, I would definetely buy:
Tod's
Chloe
Reed Krakoff

I do buy:
Dooney
Roots
Linea Pelle
Coach
Frye
Liebeskind

Must be all leather! I'm a leather fiend!

I'm gonna go w Coach or Dooney & Bourke. No idea why but i'm just put off by the brand despite liking some of their crossbody bags/satchels. Same w Michael Kors purses. Feels like they're trying too hard. I do own a shirt and a sweater though and love them both so it's just the purses...

Coach, Tod's and Kate Spade. I just...don't like them. I'm sure the quality is competent but...they just don't make an impression.

I agree with coach and kate spade! I feel like everyone loves kate spade but I just don't see the appeal. It seems pretty ordinary to me tbh. They remind me of work bags, which are boring in my opinion.

Agreed! I often wonder how he gets away with it!
