All this Coach hate! lol. Oh well, I respect everyone's opinion. :) I personally haven't bought a monogrammed bag in about 6 years.
I stay away from Longchamp, even though I think it's cool that they're branching away from nylon. But the styles just aren't for me...hmm...Celine: I used to love her stuff, and now I don't know why I did...wings on bags? What? No.
I find myself admiring some Tory Burch styles but can't bring myself to buy her brand, after her completely nonchalant/blase attitude about the lead in the hardware of her bags years back. That really bothered me.
Rebecca Minkoff: some of her bags are cute, but I think I'm too old for them at this point.
Marc or Marc by Marc Jacobs: just not my style...
I'm on the fence about Kate Spade. I like some of her stuff and think the colors are cool, but I never buy anything from her, for some reason.
...I don't like LV's brown monogrammed bags but I love their epi line...Salvatore Ferragamo is ridiculously overpriced and boring to me. So is BV...nice looking woven leather, I guess, but that brand seems "older woman" to me...
That's it for now, I think...I think I'm game for anything else!

-LV because I don't really like the monograms & they all look the same to me...
-Mulberry: purchased the Alexa (and I love her!) but I already sent it to get it repaired twice.
-Burberry bags. The RTW items are great though.
-MK: same with LV
-Gucci: same with LV

I love love lvoe Louis Vuitton - don't care about fakes - I know mine are real!! Have several bags and slgs in both mono and damier - but somehow I really dislike anything in vernis - to me it looks like plastic and I also do not like the fact it is prone to colour transfer - so don't get why anyone would risk it? Just my opinion though!!

My big pet peeve is anything made in China. I recently returned a Burberry purchase only because of this. The brands, and price tags, should be associated with quality and workmanship. Somehow I can't get over this.... It feels like I'm just paying for the logo and all the brand history and pride goes out the window when I see the stupid made in China stamp inside...

Anyone else feel the same way?

I do feel this way, though it sounds bad. I do have plenty of things that were made in China and some of them are good quality, but yeah, I couldn't pay thousands for something made in China, especially knowing that the people who make it are paid a pittance. And the prices keep going up and up and up! It's becoming almost like a wide spread scam in my eyes.

Anything LV. It really stands out from pretty much every outfit and draws attention to the purse. An excessive amount, being that it isn't really "matchy." Compounded with like the logo thrown at you, just screams "Look at my bag! I'm trying to impress everyone!"

The key is to subtly show it off, make a girl do a double take;)
