I totally agree with Ceevee, use white distilled vinegar in your wash. I use it for EVERYTHING. I put about 1/2 cup of vinegar in the fabric softener dispenser of my washing machine with every single load. I do not use fabric softener. Vinegar helps keep dark clothes from fading and deodorizes everything. I've had my Azur Neverfull MM almost 2 years now. When I noticed it was a bit dirty on the bottom I cleaned it with a baby wipe. I haven't had any issues with my denim bleeding onto the bag.

I wore a dark color t-shirt (red n orange combo) and my Azur Neverfull MM got stained... I have just used the bag 3 times till date....:crybaby:

This happened just today.. I have cleaned it with baby wipes... The transfer was not too deep. Will wait till morning and see what Happens... I am so mad at myself now...

Can I use a little soap/tide??

So I've tried searching everywhere and am resorting to asking hear. Mind you I'm new and it's been over an hour of searching on here. So I have a brand new speedy 30 Damier azur, my first genuine Louis Vuitton ever. I did extensive research on the bag and have a bottle of apple guards spray on the way for protecting the vachetta. Now my questions are;
1) should I put anything on the vachetta to moisturize it prior to applying the ag spray? I know they say that vachetta is stronger with a patina but I want to use the bag without worrying about weather conditions so i want to protect it asap to avoid water marks and unsightly I even patina. So I'm wondering if I should apply anything to help in it growing stronger beforehand.
2) since it's the Damier print, what should I use to protect the canvas to avoid any staining and color transfer, etc.
I don't want to worry about what I wear coming off on the bag, and really we shouldn't have to at $1000. I'm sorry if these issues were addressed someplace else, I'm annoyed after searching through and not finding anything so far. Any help would be so so appreciated thanks!

I don´t know if I take it right. But my new Artsy in azur I protect today with Bama "
Protection against moisture and stains for bright materials." And I hope I can safe it a little bit for colour transfer or what else. Good luck with your azur

I have never had a problem with the Damier Azur picking up dark colors or staining. As for the vachetta, that is a different story. I do let my vachetta take it's knocks and live with them. I love the lived-in look of a LV vachetta Azur or monogram.

Which reminds me. It's time to take my Berekely out for the summer!!!

beeble.

Afternoon Ladies,
Knowing what I know about the Azur print I knew better and thought I was taking precaution and gave no thought when I stored my DA NF with my DE NF. What I failed to give thought to was my DE NF still having the key charm from my DE Caissa Hobo on it and the red from the key charm transfer to my DA NF is a horrible way... all across the front of my DA NF in a swinging motion leaving red stripes.. Needless to say I've tried everything to remove the red stripes... coach leather cleaner, saddle soap, baby wipes, make up remover, magic eraser and don't faint... I was desperate and devastated to this point... I even dipped a tooth brush in a mix of water and a dab of bleach and when I say nothing has remove the red swipes I mean just that...nothing!!! So knowing what I know about this print it wasn't enough to keep me from becoming g me from being a victim of color transfer to this beautiful bag. Just wanted to share my experience with color transfer

I have a DA Sperone backpack. No color trasfer so far. But I have had color transfer from jeans into light colored leather bags, including my beloved red Flight Paname. I had a stain that lasted 2 yrs. Then I bought Bye Bye Dye from Loving my Bags. The stain went away . I'm so happy. I think this could be used in DA as well.

I just noticed that there are light red streaks / stains on my da Pochette felicie. I am soooo sad. Not sure when it started and how it get in there. I did use it a while ago and when i was about to go home, i noticed the stain. Sooo sad. Any tips on how i can remove the stain? Bye bye dye doesn't work on the da canvas (i still can see the red stains)
