Damier AZUR Staining? Cleaning?? HELP!

How do you clean the canvas on Speedy Azur canvas? I just bought a vintage one, it looks great I just would like to clean it.

Is this a hopeless case? Permanent stamp ink got underneath it.
Advise? Tips?

I removed color transfer last night with a cotton pad saturated in rubbing alcohol. It was a pretty big stain, but it all came out. I have removed permanent marker many times from walls, furniture, etc. using this method. Maybe give alcohol a try?
