i usually don’t spend much on this kind of bag. I haven’t bought from this vendor yet, but a friend has and she likes her bag. I’ve actually been thinking about this particular design since las5 summer, and I was surprised to see bucket bags all over the H runway show this season. The only thing that has prevented me from purchase is the vegan leather.

I finally unboxed my RSVP Paris burgundy grained golden eyes today. The structured bag looks very sturdy. The external epsom leather looks strong with a little "dry" feeling to it. Inside the bag is made of soft and pleasant nappa leather. I know that the bag was not hand-stitched but I think it was relatively well-made. I was looking for a boxy bag alternative to Celine without having a design that reminds me too much of Celine's. I also wanted an everyday-use bag without having to baby it. In addition, I'm very much curious about contemporary designers. Thus, this bag is perfect!
At the beginning I wanted it in cognac colour but I found this burgundy in spring sales. Nevertheless, I like this colour equally so it's my next quest to combine it with my outift :).
I'm convinced that this was worth the (discounted) price.

Nice! I think RSVP is great quality and definitely worth the price. I also like how every piece is numbered.

Their shop in Paris is very nice too.

I definitely wanted to mention Fratelli Rossetti! I first became aware of them through Nigella Lawson (:love:), when she named them her favorite brand of handbag in an interview with 'Vanity Fair'. I ordered their shoulder bag in the "peach" color - it just arrived from their store in Milan today!

The leather is absolutely gorgeous quality... so buttery and soft and "smooshy"! :blush: Most importantly, though - it's totally functional and holds all of my daily essentials. I just carry too much day-to-day for those Kelly-style, ladylike bags! :lol:

I have always been an Hermes enthusiastic lover but in the last years their so called game sounds to me a lot like an abusive relationship where you feel you have to keep on gaining love and attentions from your beloved one otherwise the fear is that you will end up being neglected. That's why I have decided to stick on what's available on the website and turned my attention on Just Campagne because their customisation service and the quality of the leathers they offer is pretty similar to Hermes with no expensive toxicity.

Polene and Leo et Violette are both a good alternative to Celine imo.

My last discovery is a small italian brand from Naples called Pelletteria Marant.
In December I was Googling for a raffia satchel when I stumbled upon their lovely Vienna model.
The price was so good that I had to give it a try: in a couple of days I got it (I am based in Milan) and I was totally impressed by the quality of the leather and their craftsmanship.
I just ordered the same bag in the small size!

I learned of Padfield England when I searched for British-made handbags... I decided to take the plunge with their "Sloane" bag in Navy, and I'm extremely impressed with the quality and the service. It's lined in the must sumptuous suede, and I even received a handwritten thank you note from the founder of the company! For every bag sold, they also plant a tree somewhere in the UK... My bag allowed for a tree to be planted in Devon, England. :flowers:

It holds all of my daily essentials perfectly with plenty of room to spare - I took some pictures so you could see! There are two deep interior pockets - I use one for my cellphone (iPhone 14). :smile:
