I have 3 that model Perrin Paris bag and I love them a lot.I recently ordered the Cuyana structured tote as a present for my mother. It’s in its way and let you all know if it’s a structured bag that holds it shape (it can stand on its own when placed of a flat surface) or if it’s body is “sort of” structured but flops over and it just has a sturdy base.
Here are a few bags that I’ve come across over the months that I would consider purchasing. I haven’t seen mentioned on the thead (if they were, mentioning them again can’t be that bad because some of these are just BEAUTIFUL) Also, my taste is more towards the unusually shaped, structured, or embellished bags, so I know these won’t appeal to everyone. But for me, I go gaga for these. I hope some of you like them too!

I checked out JW Anderson's own line today (went in for a draped mini dress). His bags were really nice (if I needed one) and they're having a sale of last season's collection of his Twister and other bags (at least in-store in the UK).
The leather was always on point whether laminated mirror-leather or lamb and the proportions were good. I loved the one that was cylindrical and looked like a large tassel. We're not talking H, but on a par with most designer bags I've seen lately. They didn't have the bumper bag, but that wouldn't have been my thing.
Anyway, I thought it would be worth a mention.

Sorry for a SLOW reply! I can't say enough good about Laperruque - I now have two of their totes and one of the
little pouches, their Pochette Tour de Cou style. The taurillon graine leather has softened but otherwise shows no real wear, though just by the nature of the surface texture you can see an occasional scuff or scratch but it's not a negative IMO; I just love the texture. The veau baranil has more structure and has softened less; the surface on that has a sheen that gives a more polished finish appearance overall. The craft on all three of the items I own is some of the very best I have ever seen in leather goods. Highly, highly recommend.

Although most of my bags are from premium designers, I do have a quite a few from Polene and other more contemporary brands. One of my favorites is the Italian brand Borbonese. We have two Italy trips planned for later in the year and I intend to get this Borbonese shopper. In addition to just really liking the design, I'm glad the bag has a zip top closure rather than just being open at the top as so many shopping bags are.
