Comparing leather by Year and Season (best, worst, characteristics)

Color aside, I'm blown away by the thickness and consistency of 2007 leather. Maybe I've just been really lucky. IMO good 2007 is just as beautiful as good 2005 leather. Keep it up Bal!

Actually there are a few yrs that i like, from year 2003-2006. Some great colors fall between those years and the leather is smooshy & thick.

I voted 07 only because of the violet ... I am so in love with this color, to me it's yummy and I wish I could have it in all the styles, well ... most of it anyway!

I love my 05 bags but I must say it's been tough trying NOT to get every color that came out in 07 (F/W). I'm happy with all my 07 bags (mogano, pine, plomb, tomato, ivory and violet.... oh and a black CP) and absolutlely love how thick and nicely distressed the leather is! 07 gets my vote and I'm guessing that 07 will soon be the next 05

Is it just me or is the leather softer i dont know if it was just that the 07's had been on display longer and the leather had dried out or they have made some improvements please tell me am i the only one who thought this

They've changed the leather to lamb/agneau rather than old goat/chevre (not enough young ones to go around...although I think some bags got lucky ;o)
