I'm generally not flashy with my bags and wallets, especially in school and rarely go for super glamourous styles. I have in my collection a furla candy, a large furla wristlet/ clutch, a coach cosmetic bag (that no one ever sees other than myself), and a fossil wallet. I'm looking to grow my collection with some items from MK!

I don't bring any of those items to school though, as my college is pretty laid back and I don't like to show off my designer items in school. The only designer item i take to college is my fossil wallet (which is in a rustic style and doesn't get much attention anyway). I usually carry a plain regular backpack to school:-)

I'm a college student as well. I own a Longchamp Le Pliage which i received as a christmas gift. To make it more affordable i purposely chose a seasonal color so that it would go on sale at the end of christmas. I also have a kate spade wallet which was not the design i originally wanted but it was cheap during their surprise sale (60% off i think). Some of my other kate spade pieces are from the outlet near vegas which has deep discounts.

I'm in university ATM. Over the years I've purchased a LV Neverfull, LV eva clutch, LV speedy bandoulier, Marc Jacobs Francesca, and recently acquired Prada Lux Tote and a Balenciaga city ^_^. Also a couple of wallets :D Currently I'm on the hunt for a celine mini tote,saving up for it >.< I purchased all of these myself by saving on little things, and I'm also quite lucky cause I have co-op through school 4month/year which earns me about 14k. Since my parents/government funding/scholarship/bursaries basically pays for the rest I can spend that 14k on things I want or vacations :)

i'm also done with college, thank GOD, but i've been into bags for a really long time so i've had a while to build up my collection. i've inherited/been gifted a MJ stam, lv neverfull, lv speedy, 3 le pilage bags, a MK hamilton, a madewell kensington satchel, and some vintage coach bags. with my own money, i've purchased a rebecca minkoff mac and mab mini, balenciaga brief, everlane petra, lv zippy, an mxmj bag from like 2006-2007 that i can't remember the name of anymore :P, and some other misc. wallets.

I own quite a few contemporary designer bags, and all but one (a high school graduation gift) were paid with my own money. I work part time as a nanny, and I pay for all of my own expenses. I'm just careful with my money, and rarely spend it on eating out or on alcohol. I also shop sales and stores like Nordstrom Rack, Marshall's, and TJ Maxx. Currently I own:

What do you have in your bag collection and how do you pay for it?
My collection isn't that exciting or extensive but:

1 RM mini Hudson
1 Vanessa Bruno satchel
I also have a backpack (unbranded)

Do you have a part-time job? Do your parents help you out?
I'm currently in my penultimate year at uni and I pay for all my bag purchases myself - usually by cutting down on less important things like food:faint:
My parents don't really contribute to uni :(

How many bags per year do you buy and when did you start collecting?
I don't really plan to fill a quota every year but I guess I tend to buy bags when I can justify buying them - I bought the Longchamp when I started clinicals as it's more professional than a well-worn backpack.

Do you plan on getting a job post-grad that will help finance your addiction?
When I graduate, I'll need to pay off student loans and other exciting things like bills, but hopefully by working in healthcare, I'll be able to buy some of the bags on my looong wishlist. :)

Basically I don't like spending more than $500 on a bag, I feel like I wouldn't get enough use out of it. Even a longchamp its irking me since its just nylon! Also I rarely bring any of these to school and use them there since most girls have LVs or longchamps and I don't want to be that flashy.

I've been cutting down a lot as my parents used to be willing to pay for me but I feel bag for taking their money so I allow them to buy the essentials for me like new shoes only if I get rid of an old pair and luxuries I pay for myself.
Totally planning on getting a good paying job if the economy lets me and after I pay an arm a leg and maybe a kidney for grad school.

Im a college student, i live on my own, pay for my own bills and such. No help from my parents because i dont have any (i do lol but they have their own families now) i just recently got into designer handbags and i only have contemporary handbags. I pay them with my own money from my full time job. Im in love with the givenchy anitgona but honestly i dont think i can afford that anytime soon :(

Rebecca Minkoff mini mac bag in black! I purchased this bag awhile back ago and I was so happy. I'm a college student and I purchased the bag by myself. I'm more of make-up person but, I have recently started getting to purses.
