i actually started working at 15/16 to be able to buy a Marc Jacobs purse but that never happened lol

Hey guys! I'm a full-time third year medical student and I can't wait for the day that I can finally earn my own money. For now, luckily, my mom is also into fashion and gives me bags that she doesn't feel like using anymore. OR usually when she buys a new bag, I charm my way into letting her give it to me instead. She can be very generous. Anyway, here is my current collection:

2 MiuMiu (Vitello Lux and Metallase)
Longchamp Au Sultan boston bag
LV Cartouchierre
Gucci monogram boston bag
3 MK bags
Balenciaga purse
Salvatore Ferragamo two way bag
Marni two way bag
Tory Burch Amanda
Longchamp Le Pliage Cuir
YSL wallet
Christian Dior wallet
Coach wallet
A couple of hand me down Coach leather bags
and my trusty North Face backpack for overnight study groups and weekend trips.

This bring back memories of many decades ago when I was in college all I had was a Jansport backpack and when I went out at night a card case in my back pocket for ID and money. mid-70s . How things have changed!

Nice collection. I'm on the same boat with you. Cannot wait till I have my private practice. I would get a matte croc Birkin to mark my achievements. What's yours?

Second year undergrad here! Have a small collection, but dreams to expand...

I left high school with a turquoise Kate Spade Charles Street which I adored, and a navy Michael Kors Kempton that I used as a school bag.
Now, my pride and joy is the black PM Goyard St. Louis I just purchased!! I saved up and got it monogrammed too :)

I'm pretty lucky that my mom is paying for my tuition, but my spending money comes from a bit of allowance I save each month and my jobs, I also ended up selling a ton of old clothes and stuff when I was saving up for my Goyard.

now I have my eye on a cross body...debating the Celine nano luggage or a Chanel square mini (if only I currently had the funding for either) ;)

I'm a high school senior (17), so I don't have to pay for food/housing/college yet since I still live with my lovely mother. We aren't well off though, so I don't think I would ever ask for a bag from her. I also like more sentimental gifts :). All the money I get from tutoring goes to two things: college and fun (experiences, fashion, bags). I like quality over quantity so my entire wardrobe is very streamlined but I've always had a problem with bags; I always thought any nice bags were out of my reach because of pricing. But then I got into vintage bags. I like pre owned because I'm vegetarian but also because it's cheaper, so last semester I bought my first designer bag: a lovely coach court for a great price. I sometimes like the fact that I don't have money to burn on because I feel like it makes me more picky, so in the end I love all my bags and don't end up with impulse buys. Now I have three:

Red vintage coach court: purchased in November, $100 (a bit pricey but it's a rare color and in perfect condition)
Vintage bamboo Gucci: purchased in January, $80
Light blue coach trail bag: purchased a couple days ago, $40ish, rehabbed.
And I'm done buying bags for a while, except I want a nice satchel for college, but I'll buy that in August.

To be honest, the idea of paying even $1000 for a bag makes me barf, but thankfully I don't like the style of Hermes or Chanel. I love Gucci though (the non monogrammed ones), so that's a bit of a bummer for me... The Blooms collection is so beautiful

I'm going to get a "real" job at the end of spring break, but when that happens basically all the money I make will strictly be for college/ things I need for my dorm, even though I got a lot of scholarships college is still expensive [emoji53]

I love Celine's nano bags, they're so cute! What colors are on your Goyard?

Just added another Céline to my collection. I graduate college this May with a degree in Interior design. Over the years, I've collected a number of bags, but have sold a fair amount of them as well just so they would go to a home that would love them more.

Some bags have been gifts but for the most part I pay for them myself. I work part time as well as blog and this helps finance my love for designer handbags. These are pieces accumulated over the years so they're definitely purchased months apart usually. Also, a number of them I was able to get for less than retail price.

I'm a pre nursing student and most of my bags were birthday gifts from my parents. My boyfriend was also sweet enough to purchase a few bags for me as well [emoji8][emoji8]. I don't have that many bags but I currently have..

-baby pink Chanel jumbo
-beige Chanel jumbo
-black lambskin maxi
-pink Chanel WOC
-black Chanel boy
-small black croc embossed monogram chain bag by Saint Laurent
-light blue medium monogram bag by Saint Laurent

-Louis Vuitton Alma PM in rose angelique
Hoping to add more in the future!

I'm about to start graduate school and have a very small collection (with big dreams of expanding). My premier designer brands are either gifts or second-hand: I love pre-loved bags because the price is much lower, and also because I'm really not a person that takes good care of my bags so it anyway feels like a waste to acquire pristine bags. New I've only purchased a few MK, DKNY, and Ralph Lauren that I have not used very much unfortunately and that I really want to let go of.
So my tiny tiny collection in made of the following, in order of acquisition:
- Medium Burberry Nova Check Tote (gift from boyfriend, now husband)
- Gucci babouska boston bag (gift from my mom)
... then I got really fed up with logos and monograms and recognizable patterns. I discovered MK, at the time unknown in Italy and acquired quite a few - the only one I actually still use is:
- MK Medium Riley Pebbled Leather Pale Blue Satchel
Lately I have added:
- MiuMiu studded leather crossbody
- Medium Givenchy Pandora in grayish/beigeish (don't know name of color or leather as I bought it second hand)
- Lanvin Partage Sac in distressed black leather
- Mulberry Bayswater in Pewter with braid details (actually still waiting on authentication result so I'm still a bit afraid I might a fake in the house... Terrified!)

Hoping to add more beautiful and worthy pieces in the near future. Now I've really turned to desiring quality vs quantity!
