Collecting Tiffany & Co. charms, worth it...or not??

I love shiny silver pieces too. But once scratched, it's very hard to make it look brand new anymore... Here is a picture of my ss oval link charm bracelet with 3 charms which look quite tired only after 2 years (Mom charm is only 1 month old). It doesn't look too special, but I like the way the heart charms dangle from my wrist.

I love Elsa Peretti's design so I hope she'll make individual charms in the future.;)

Here are a couple of pics. I removed 2 links from the bracelet to fit my small wrist. I used to put the mini enamel heart lock, which is now coupled with my new open heart key (2") on ss oval link chain ("20).

Thank you for sharing your picture. The bracelet looks great on you. I love chunky bracelet looks. You haven't had any trouble with the links snagging on things or dropping the charms off? This style bracelet is great bc you can add or take off charms as you want.

Thank you.
Indeed, the charms dropped off the bracelet several times, when I changed clothes. Luckily I was able to find it every time, but it particularly happened to my note disc and little enamel heart. I think it's because they were attached with small openings. The mini disc only has a small link which is just enough to hang on the bracelet.
Have you started to wear yours yet? I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Um, no not yet. And I have a few more bids out there on other charms 😫 #addicted #whatswrongwithme lol

I learned a trick to using that clasping bracelet. Unhook the link completely from the other link. Insert your charm so it hangs on the solid part of the link. Then re attach the link to the others. The charm is now more secure and should help prevent against pulling out of alignment or dropping the charm. Let me know if it works for you 😊

I also have one charmed bracelet and its almost 3 years now. It has a lot or scratches i dont know also how to make it new again. Help.

Tiffany's can repolish for you but it may be costly. You can also take it to a local jewelry repair shop and have the polish it for you.
Can you post a picture of it? I'd love to see it 😀

That is a great idea! I actually replaced all my charms to the other side of the link and yes, they seem to be much more secure. THANK YOU FOR GREAT ADVICE!! I never thought of that...

Talking about addiction, I know myself how addictive it can be. I was on eBay for a constant search for Coach bags last year or two (as it's cheaper to get them from US), and I'm sort of obsessed with Tiffany at the moment, but not really buying much at this stage (just bought a house etc).
You're so lucky that Tiffany is much bigger in US and there are so much more variety to choose from. Anyway, good luck with your bidding!!

Oh good, I'm so glad it worked out for you! And hopefully you won't drop any charms now.
I just won and received the Las Vegas poker chip charm. They recently discontinued it and it was impossible to find it new in stores. I have a couple of other bids winding up tomorrow and then I think I'm going to give up buying jewelry for Lent :-O It's a hobby I enjoy, but it's time consuming and I get a bit obsessive about it. So I think it's a good thing to let go for a little while. Then my birthday and Mother's Day is in May 😃

Congrats on winning the bid! I've never seen the casino charm so please post the pics later, maybe with other new acquisitions of yours?
II've been thinking about mother's day a lot myself. You might even get a bigger treat as a combo of your birthday and MD.

I've been to Tiffany twice this week (meaning yesterday and today) and I tried a few necklaces including the gold keys and enchant range. But I just realised that there's nothing that I want to spend my money on at the moment. I only liked a few pieces (Elsa Peretti's gold necklaces) which were above my budget so I'll stay in low for a while too.

I love your mom charm!!!

Hi All,

Just started collecting T&Co charms and have a news from Singapore Boutique that they are going to discontinue the production of charms... Any one can verify that?

TIA!

I haven't heard anything specific but it does seem like they're retiring several styles and not bringing out new ones. I hope they don't all get discontinued!
