Collecting Tiffany & Co. charms, worth it...or not??

I received the SS open clasp bracelet & blue enamel gift box as my 42th birthday gift from dear sister 5 years ago. It then ignited my interest in collecting t&co charms as souvenirs of vacations. Now its full, 10 t&co charms plus 2 other non branded ones. I delight in wearing them, especially on weekends & vacations.

Thanks for sharing your story. Such a pretty bracelet. Do you wear all the charms at the same time, or switch them around?

I love that artist's pallet charm. I imaging that's retired? What are the other charms you have?

Thanks for your compliment gemlady72. I wear a charm on every link. This bracelet comes with 13 links, I'd removed one link to fit my wrist.

I chose the artist pallet whilst I was in New York 5th Avenue store September 2011 as my youngest daughter loves to draw & paint.

The apple, cupcake & gift box were my first 3 charms, represent my 3 daughters too.

Ballet slipper with a tiny diamond as my eldest daughter is especially talented in ballet.

Ladybug & duckling just for the pop of yellow & red. They are so adorable.

Atlas pendant and key as they are such classic T&Co . The purse , initially to hang on my Hermes blue jeans purse as a charm.

The non T&co ones are the sapphire cross for my faith & the pave diamond heart for hubby.

Everyone of these charms holds special significance & loads of memories.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to post an update to my Tiffany & Co. Charm Collection. Here are all the charms I've collected so far. Only the blue enamel and Soho hearts were purchased brand new, the others are preloved but great condition.

Here are the two charm bracelets I could put them on, the blue enamel oval linking bracelet and the large link toggle bracelet. I bought the blue enamel bracelet preloved and it had a lot of issues, including a missing link, 3 links being out of alignment, and very scratched up. T&Co did a great job on repairing it for me, for only $50, so made it worthwhile to purchase preowned.

In all honesty, I have not worn any of the charms since getting them. I don't know if it's just not my "style" to wear a large charm bracelet or if I'm too afraid to mess them up, probably a bit of both. But I am still enjoying collecting them as a hobby, and they would make nice souvenirs if I visit a T&Co on vacation. I think I like most the thrill of the hunt, to acquire hard to find or retired charms in excellent condition at great prices. With Tiffany's history and popularity, I imagine the charms will always be desirable in the future, so I don't mind putting some money towards it. I don't really collect anything else, so this is kind of fun for me. Does anyone else here collect these charms?

Here's how I'm storing my charms. They are each in a small jewelry zip bag with an anti tarnish strip so that they will stay bright and not scratch each other up.
