Coach Returns Policy

Actually this is the best idea Coach has had in years. I think a 60 day return policy is definitely enough time to decide whether you want to keep a bag or not

I agree. There are people who just hold on to bags for years and then decide to return them. Not cool. No other company has that generous of a return policy.

I think 60 days is fair. As long as they don't shift to a "final sale" model, or return for store credit only, I'll be fine. I feel like I refrain from shopping at Dooney as much as I shop coach for that reason.

Good! That should stop some of the worst resellers.

Hmmm...should I return my Gray Quartz Phoebe before Thursday? I love the bag, I just haven't used it at all.

EDIT: Just took it out of the dustbag, nope, still love it. :hbeat: I'm really rocking this edgy aesthetic right now but I'll regret letting Phoebe go, I just know it.

I heard that purchases made BEFORE this month can still be returned at any time. It's just for purchases AFTER the policy takes into effect that are impacted by the 60d limit. Is that right?

Are purchases made before the change still be returned whenever?

its weird in the sense that department stores that sell coach still have the same lenient policies. I agree 60 days is more than enough time to decide however often with outlet purchases i often stock up for holidays, presents etc i guess that won't be happening anymore

I'm thinking it might depend on what it says on your original receipt. But I noticed that even my old receipts from 2011 say "Coach reserves the right to modify its exchange and return policy." So technically they could refuse a return with an old receipt.

I also agree. 60 days seems like more than enough time to decide if it's a keeper or not. I wonder how the new policy will affect defects or unusual wear. Off to check the other thread...

i wonder how gifts will work and gift receipts especially with the holidays looks like ill stick to department stores to be on the safe side. i think this may make a difference as to how many shop with the brand the mentality has always been buy now think later SA even push the fact that u can bring it back if you don't love it or change your mind interesting direction. i wonder also if clearance at outlets will be final sale? thats what many other brands like kate spade and mk tend to do
