I purchased the Camo Taxi Tote right after Thanksgiving. I have only carried the bag a couple times and all four corners have rubbed off to white! What would you ladies do? I'm contemplating just trying to return it for a credit. I don't want to get another bag and the same thing happen! FYI: I am very careful with my bags, they're like my babies. lol. I've never had this happen before.

I would absolutely take that back in to return. A little over a month old with corner wear already is unacceptable and defective imo.

I don't know what to do. I'm wondering if I should try to exchange it for another, but then again I'm worried that the new one may do the same thing. If it does, I would be driving two hours one way...again :(

Not to be a wet blanket, but if they deem the wear "acceptable wear and tear," they may not take it back.

I spoke to an SA at the closest FP store on the phone last night and she said this wouldn't be normal wear and tear. My issue is whether or not to try another of the same bag and hope it doesn't happen again, or try and return the bag for a store credit or something.

Personally I wouldn't try another of the same bag. It would probably happen again. However, if I really wanted it, I would treat the corners to help prevent it. I think I would use a matte varnish, but then you are modifying the bag and you wouldn't be able to return it.

Thanks for the advice :) I think I'll just try to return it and be done with it. You're probably right.

Whew! I returned two items today...one SLG purchase from November and a Legacy Lg. wristlet from 01/14. It was easy peasy and the SA was all smiles.

Glad you didn't have an issue. I will be taking mine back when I head to the big city for an appointment on Wednesday. Hopefully my transaction will go as smoothly as yours :)

Hi! I returned something at the outlet recently with a receipt within the 30 day period. My first return EVER. I actually bought something else more expensive and had to pay the difference. They asked for my drivers license which they proceeded to input it. Is this normal? I suppose they want to keep track of people who return stuff all the time. I hate giving out my personal info but I went ahead and did it. I mean I never have to show my license when I returm something with receipt at Target, Macy's, etc. Guess I am still bugged about it. Thanks.

I've returned many times and never had to show my license. I wouldn't like that either.

It could be cause you aren't in the system. Whenever I return something, my info comes up so maybe that's why I'm not asked to show my license. I have been asked to show my license when making a purchase with my credit card...mostly when I'm in Delaware not NJ.

Thanks for your replies, ladies. You are right that I wasn't in their system before (I made one purchase online in FOS but I assume that is a different system). Anyways, quite irked this happened to me. Perhaps different outlets have different return policies. I learned my lesson -- don't go shopping when you have a headache and can't think clearly. Thanks again.
