Coach Returns Policy

Called my other outlet and they said that yes, you can return items bought before the policy until January and the good news is that it's closer to me than the other one.
fashionplate123- I think we are in the same area, No. Va? If so, can you tell me which outlet gave you the misinformation, and which one said returns for prior purchases made up until 9/18 could still be returned until January? i still have a few straggler returns I need to take back and am trying to save some money by not shipping it back to JAX.
The Leesburg outlet said everything you return at this point has to be within the 60 day rule. The one in Potomac Mills confirmed that we have until January if we bought anything before the new return policy took effect.
Thanks very much for your reply, I had a feeling you were going to say that! I'm actually pretty close to Natl. Harbor Tanger (at work), so I might call there too to see what they say. P. Mills is a hike for me, but might make a trip down there at some point.
What a coincidence! National Harbor is closest to me, but PM is much closer than Leesburg. I didn't call NH, so let me know what you find out if you call. I used to shop at Coach and the outlet so much; I've got a ton of bags I bought and didn't use that are too old to even fall within the old return policy, but now, with this new one, I will probably really avoid shopping with them now. I really liked the flexibility of having plenty of time to decide if I would return something or not.
Agree, I cannot tell you how many things I bought because of that return anytime offer. I wsas disorganized and didn't keep track of my receipts, but that isn't Coach's fault, LOL. If they could track my purchases on my CC more than just recently, I have a LOT of items that would be going back right now. They are glad they don't have that capability. I have sat out the new releases since the Boroughs and Dailys.
I have a merch card to use up, then I'm done.
Anything purchased before mid-September 2014 (when the policy changed) can be returned with your receipt as long as it's new & unused. Prior to mid-September there was no timeframe, so everything would still be eligible to return.
It's ridicules that so many stores / staff are uninformed, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised by that. Hopefully you'll be able to return everything you'd like to.

I have several bags that I couldn't make up my mind about sitting here with tags. I love them and they were bought at the outlet, so great prices.
Most are similar to other bags I already own, so it seemed like I should return for something else.
However with the new direction that Coach is going, there are not many new lines/bags coming out that I like, so these bags are looking pretty good right now, there is a Lindsey, Sofia, Kristin, etc. I think I'll keep them, rather than return, since I like them more than anything else out there.

Can you still get store credit or do an exchange if unused with tags? The Coach website doesn't say much about this.
If past 60 days? I asked at the outlet yesterday...they told me they are not supposed to.
That's a real shame. At least I could trade one in for one I want now. I seriously think Coach will lose its customers to the outlets and department stores. With the limited return policy, they better be nice to customers who return within 60 days. There is no excuse for rude SAs or managers anymore.
So, do you have something to return now? If you purchased before September 18th I believe you have until January. Then, they also have a holiday return policy in place. I think anything purchased October 27th you have until maybe January 15th to return/exchange.
