I'd like to find one in British tan or red too. The large duffle sac is too big for me, but this one looks like it might be a better fit.
It's a great size. I can't handle the duffle sac either. This is slim so it doesn't stick out from your body a mile. Here's mine.

Oh so pretty! Yours is perfect! The color is so perfectly even! Did you buy it NWT? Amazing condition! I have one but it was "professionally" dyed and it looks so splotchy! :( I haven't worked on it yet.

Thank you! I love it! It wasn't NWT. If it were, I would probably be afraid to carry it. But it is in fantastic condition. No stains at all. I got it on ebay 2 years ago.

Here's mine: now that I have been seasoned in how shoe polish feels on leather, I am pretty sure this was also treated with shoe polish. [emoji20]

Shoe polish even on red?!! I thought I might be relatively safe if I stayed away from black, but I guess not. But now you have Whateve's pic to inspire you to strip it!

That's normal with these bags. I've never had a magenta Bleecker but all the 2007 Bleeckers I've come across have the same problem. They used a different type of leather for the trim and it took the dye differently. You can condition this leather. I don't know if it will change color but I think it won't.

+1 on this - I have trim color differences on my British Tan (may not be the proper color name). My trim is darker than the bag instead of lighter, though. I really like tonal colorblocking so didn't bother me one bit!

Unfortunately yes. Shoe Polish comes in all color. If you recall my pink drawstring shoulder bag was ruined by the luggage repair store. They used orange and called it a color match. I got a lot of the orange off using acetone and it still looks orange.

What I want to hear is that you paid an obscene amount of money I could never afford and got it in pristine condition. What I do not want to hear is that you found it for $20 anywhere online or in a thrift store lol. Really though, it's gorgeous. I think I'm in love!:biggrin:

It is a great bag. I found mine (British tan) on vacation in FL at a Goodwill in very good condition. It is good *working breed* lol. I use it for work and can easily tuck 'one more thing' in as I am scrambling out the door.

Thank you! I didn't pay an obscene amount of money but I paid more than $20. It cost under $40 shipped.

I bought my black one at a Goodwill in Florida when we were on vacation! It cost $16 but I had to pay another $4 to replace the rivet. Florida was wonderful for thrift stores.

Yes. Florida is amazing. The deceased and retired (with money) create that supply! Just got three great bags for $25 each while visiting my mother. Still need to get authenticated, but assuming they are the real deal, this Goodwill was a hit. A Ranch bag, the shoulder sac and a lightweight medium bucket. No hang tags but all in what I consider very good shape. A little wear, supple leather and no storage squash. No weird smells. There were even more bags I didn't ask to see because I really needed a limit. I had just bought three right before I left on vacation.

So if you are ever in Venice FL to visit your elderly parents or play golf (as I cannot think of another reason to go there) and you can brave the traffic on 41 /Tamiani Trail, hit up the Goodwill. I don't know if they are always this flush with Coach, but eyeballing it there were at least 5 or 6 other bags, mostly smaller. You never know.

I do remember the orange sadness [emoji20]. I've been banking on sellers being too lazy to try to color match polish on anything other than a black bag, but if even the luggage place doesn't give a hoot about matching...

I never made it to Venice. We stayed in the northern part of Florida. There is a member of tpf who lives in Venice, I believe, and gets tons of Coaches from the Goodwill. She hasn't been on here lately, but for a long time she was getting Coaches authenticated every week.
