At this very moment when I'm writing this my very first vintage (I guess? it's said to be made in New York)
Coach City bag is getting a warm bath of Fairy and water. So I'm very new to this Coach rehab thing! Though I've once machine-washed a Liebeskind (a German brand) cross-body leather bag and it turned out very fine, for the bag that is. Not so well for the washing machine though, as it went running around the house during the spinning circle

, I guess because the wet leather bag is rather heavy and and so the spinning was unbalanced. Well the washing machine survived. So I can't say I'm frighten of dunking a Coach, more like exciting to see how it turn out!
The bag I received is in very good shape, some used mark around the piping and light scratches here and there but I think nothing a warm bath and some conditioners can't cure. I don't have access to the brands that are often mentioned in this thread, so I have to made do with what I have, something like:
Collonil 1909 Leather Lotion
