Ladies, any tips for reshaping a speedy shaped bag? I have one fresh from a bath and the sides look...puffy? Don't want to overstuff and made them worse but not sure what to do with.

Ok ladies, the rare vintage Bonnie Cashin bag is here! But it smells funky! [emoji20] Is this bag washable with the stripes liner? Can I dunk it?

I don't know the answer about this one. However, if you can't wash it, I use "odorZout" to remove smells. You can use it on any surface and it will not damage it. It's a granular mineral that you simply sprinkle on and leave a fan blowing on it overnight and it will take the smell away. Then you just throw the granules away.

I have used odorZout A LOT on everything from laundry to tile floors to cars and it works wonders. For me, it has gotten rid of mildew smells, smoke, cat pee smells, etc. I swear by it! [emoji4]

I dunked the tote I just got. I didn't let it soak for any length of time because it has something cardboard-like in sides and I didn't want it to warp. I'm not sure I should have dunked it, but I did. I think it helped the leather. The odorZout suggestion sounds good for the smell. I've also used activated charcoal to remove smells. It works better than dunking on smells.

I've never dunked any of my lined Bonnie Cashin bags. I've been too afraid to. These older bags tend to smell funky just because they are so old. You can wipe it down with vinegar. The odorZout suggestion is a good one. I've used bath salts before and they worked great.

I've cut cardboard to the correct shape and placed it inside the bag to help shape it. Also push it up against a wall when it dries to keep it flat.

I aired it out in the sun today for an hour. It's better but still smells. S/o smells, that Murphy i washed had strong perfume smell and it still does even after the bath. I put desiccants in there too but the perfume is still lingering. I'm gonna have to get that odorZout soon.
