Absolutely amazing how the dents came out! Gorgeous!
She is looking brand new!Good afternoon everyone. As some of you know, I recently purchased a "teal" blue Sheridan Elliot. I finally bought it because I was 99% sure it was not teal blue and I felt sorry for it. It arrived yesterday and I started work on it today. It is not finished by any means but I am really pleased with how it looks so far. I've attached before and after photos. I hope you like what's been done so far.

I just bought my first Meltonian and I really like it!Awww thanks so much chowlover! So there's two dog lovers on this list! The piping needs work as there is breakthrough on the front corners but I can fix that once I finish with the blue. I used a bit of Leather CPR and some Meltonian navy on it. I love the Meltonian cream as I can blend colors if needed and it doesn't clog up the finish.
What a great job. She's gorgeous! I presume the turn lock is solid brass? You couldn't do that with brass plated hardware could you? Here's the Carlyle. I am tickled pink with the disappearance of the dents in the flap. There isn't even the slightest evidence of them ever being there!
I am also thrilled with how the female part of the turnlock came out with the sanding. I left the male portion undone so that you could see the difference. A lovely brushed effect that will remain even if I have to polish it again!
Here are her wrinkles - much better! I have a little brown spot that I need to touch up, but I think she came out great! Just need to finish her hardware, and she's ready to go out on the town.![]()
Wow, it looks gorgeous! Is it really teal? I have a navy Sheridan and it is pretty dark, but it is a greenish, rather than a purplish, navy.Good afternoon everyone.
