A bit of a challenge because of the light color. It would look better after a bath and conditioning, but it would probably still have some stains, marks and "patina." Do you have pics of the inside?

Yes they can. I'm always a little more cautious with lined bags but several people have dunked these. It is a Sheridan Glenwood from 1992-1993. These styles don't have creed numbers.

I washed one of these just a couple of weeks ago. I was worried as it is an olive green color and the green dye ran out of it a lot during its bath. I thought it may stain the lining if it continued to release color while it was drying but it didn't. It's a super cute bag. Rehab was very easy on mine.

Thanks for the advice whateve and Belicious. Unfortunately I got caught up at work and didn't get to buy the bag >_< I hope you enjoy carrying your bag Belicious :smile1:

Thanks catbird. I will pass, saw similar bag but in good condition but it's dark brown color n I've too much brown bags [emoji19]

Here are two active listings for lighter brown Courier Pouches if you are still interested. I like these! The second one could be a good rehab project if the price doesn't go too high. (It'd be a good idea to get it authenticated first if you plan to bid.)

Thanks. I've never used Meltonian. Does it cover completely? Does it dry so it won't get on the tan parts?

I've used the black, mixed with a little conditioner, applied sparingly with a q-tip, then rubbed with fingertip to blend, on worn AWL corners and light scratches. It won't cover completely, but it should minimize the appearance of the wear. You may need to do one or two light coats. It seems to soak in and dry (does not rub off onto the tan parts).

Here is a good article on refurbishing AWL Dooneys:

I'm pretty excited to report some success I've had with ink on a white bag. I neglected to take a picture of the ink mark before I did anything. The first picture is after the first treatment. It was a lot worse before that. I put that on before I went to bed so no sun exposure. After the second treatment, I put it in the sun for about an hour. I don't know if the sun helps. It seems it worked some without it.

I got the idea from JaNan16. Here is her original post: http://forum.purseblog.com/showpost.php?p=27876836&postcount=7645 It's on page 510 of this thread.
