Here is the listing:http://m.ebay.com/itm/271821844386

And in the listing it says there is 'normal wear, fraying, etc etc"

I received it today and I feel like there is a little more wear than 'normal'. I took this picture of the area that is more than 'frayed'

I wouldn't even know how to go about making sure this fraying doesn't get worse. Do any of you maybe feel like this is more than ' normal'
I think the listing pictures were accurate. I can see quite a bit of fraying in the pictures. I don't think fraying is normal wear. I hate listings that just give generic condition statements like that, rather than a specific description of flaws of the item in the listing. You might be able to use fray check but I think it will change the texture of the fabric. I would probably use RIT dye to refresh the color.

I recently purchased this Lime Lunchbox, which is a little dingy looking. Any tips on how to perhaps brighten it up? I already know that I'm going to have to touch up the piping with an acrylic paint/conditioner mixture as all of the piping on the bag is basically brown. For the rest of the bag though, will my usual technique of a Leather Therapy followed by Blackrock be alright? Or will that darken the color even more? I'm a little unsure of what products to use on a bag this color, as I've only rehabbed various shades of brown and black before. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I've had this exact same bag and used the usual washing and conditioning process plus acrylic paint on the piping. It was a challenge to match it though. There's not much else you can do with it. Sadly the colour can't be invigorated. I ended up selling mine and the buyer was really happy with it so each to their own

How long should I leave it in the sun for? Also, it is possible for it to get too hot? It's 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32 degrees Celsius) outside right now where I live.
We were in the middle of a heat wave when I put my Shoulder Sac and it it was 41C. Not sue if it made it any darker than if it had been 30C.

Ok. Maybe I'm being too much of a perfectionist. But the color was more even before dunking and conditioning, which made me wonder if something was wrong. Thanks ladies! :smile1:
It can take a while for the conditioner to soak in so maybe leave it for a few weeks and then decide if you're happy with it. Sometimes the finish of the leather can wear off. The only way to even it out is to use acetone and then re dunk and re-condition. It will end up darker than it was originally.

Any ideas on how to rehab this Coach clutch? It is in excellent shape except for what appears to be fading on the right side. Thanks so much.

Washing and conditioning may restore the colour. You could try Obenauf's just on the lighter area.

Help me please! I just purchased my first Coach purse,I looked it up online and discovered that it was missing "braided leather belt accent" #F13065 tan or camel. I can not find anywhere to get a replacement!
You mean the woven belt? You probably won't be able to find it. Coach wouldn't have a replacement for a bag that old. You might be able to find a woven belt so you could make something similar, or weave something yourself. Sometimes people sell parts of bags on ebay so it is possible you could find one. You could also keep an eye out for the same bag in horrible condition that you can buy just for the belt.

I got this beauty in the mail... ❤❤ and I LOVE IT!

I knew buying it that it had a few scuffs...so, now the rehab!

Should I buy the coach leather cleaner or is there something else? She is a beauty and in excited to carry her!!

I think leather cleaner, made by Coach or anyone else, is a waste of money. It doesn't work any better than any mild cleaner that you probably already have. Most conditioners also clean, so if you don't want to dunk, I would suggest just using a good conditioner, again not one made by Coach. If you only want to buy one item, I would get Blackrocks Leather n Rich.

I have this bag in black but bought it super beat-up. I washed it, put on some leather CPR and a couple of coats of blackrocks, touched up some color loss on the corners and it came up pretty nice. It's a cute little thing. I don't use it often because it's a bit small for me.

Question, dunk it? Also, where do I buy leather CPR and blackrocks?

So sorry I'm a dummy with this stuff! I want to take VERY good care of my collection. I also have a black leather coach that is actually in great condition but could use a little cleaning.

What is a spa treatment too? Geeesh I feel so stupid. :(
