Question, dunk it? Also, where do I buy leather CPR and blackrocks?

So sorry I'm a dummy with this stuff! I want to take VERY good care of my collection. I also have a black leather coach that is actually in great condition but could use a little cleaning.

What is a spa treatment too? Geeesh I feel so stupid. :(

Dunking it means to submerge it in a tub of water with a little bit of dish soap. I buy all of my leather conditioning products off of Amazon, but Burlington Coat Factory has some products for sale as well.

I get Blackrocks from Amazon and Leather CPR from Marshalls or Tuesday Morning or Bed Bath and Beyond.

I just got a Lightweights Tailored Pouch, with a stain on the front. Can I safely give it a bath?

Yes, you can do the same process you usually do for rehabs. For these, it is good to use conditioners that tend to darken.

ETA: they also tend to fade, so I wouldn't use really hot water.

Thanks, and especially thank you for the tip on the hot water. I was thinking of that since a hot water bath was all I needed to get the similar looking stain off my Patricia's Legacy.
Does red fade a lot in general? I haven't bathed my other red one yet, either.

I've washed red bags where the water looked like I'd been bleeding profusely! I rehabbed a wine soft satchel. I don't remember how much color came off in the bath, but mine had a big grease stain that I couldn't get off. I ended up covering it with a blend of Leather Refinisher and conditioner. I didn't know about the cornstarch/baking soda trick back then, so I'd probably try that first if I were to do it all over again. I remember the grease kept bleeding through the cover-up and I had to do it again.

When I dunked my red dinky it didn't bleed that much and I was really surprised after seeing Whateve's comments about dunking red bags. I think it came out as a pale pink but not very obvious.

I can't remember what bag it was but my hands were stained. It happened another time with a green bag too.

Hi guys!
I saw the following bag at a consignment store. I didn't have my measuring tape with me and was not able to get measurements, but it is much narrowere than the Willis.
Please authenticate. I may need to go back if real.

Hello Everyone

I am starting to collect Coach Sonoma bags, and most of what I've bought so far has just needed a little TLC.

I've never attempted a serious rehab and would like to learn more.
I searched thru this site and it sounds as though it's possible to rehab Sonoma pebbled leather.

Would love your thoughts on this challenged Sonoma bag listed on Ebay -
can this bag be saved?

(I assume the white is paint - haven't contacted the seller yet about that and other concerns.)

Thanks in advance for your help!
