I think you have the fancier version of my washer.

You will cry when you hear what I paid for the set - $60 for the pair plus free shipping! It was the starting price, no one else bid on it. The pics were terrible, so I was a little worried about the condition she might be in, but it was much better than expected. No major flaws, just a little dirty on the inside. The bag is a bit yellower than the wallet. Here's the listing:

Now to get her cleaned up!

Exactly! The search begins.......:graucho:

I think I started out with that washer and exchanged it for the one that has the extra rinse option. It was a stupid move because you can always get an extra rinse just by turning the dial back.

I am jealous at the price. I don't think mine has any yellowing. I wonder if this leather has the same problem as some of the Legacy greens and grays. Maybe it's from too much sunlight? I think someone was able to fix it with a bath on a Legacy.

You'll have trouble finding my chimp fob but there is another one where he looks like he is sitting that is much more common. http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-DESIG...19d817d&pid=100276&rk=2&rkt=4&sd=281559883412

I almost bought a fob with an antiqued ring at the outlet so I could switch the ring on my chimp but it was $20 - too much for a ring.

:confused1:well, found this. not the same, but.

just don't know though. had excellent luck in washing a lovely grape sonoma, but not sure that lightning would strike twice. the suede on this one has issues.

would you give it a go for the price? or keep looking??

I have been watching that one forever and have been afraid to take a chance. I don't have good luck with nubuc. I would also worry about the brown bleeding onto the nubuc so I don't know how well it would wash.

It might not be too bad. The inside looks pristine and the leather looks great. The photos aren't good and they could be making it look worse than it is with shadows. The spot on the front is the main issue, IMO. Maybe the seller will know what that is. I think it's worth asking some questions and getting more pcs. It's a very pretty bag

I was debating giving her a dunk - I need to give her a good look see tomorrow. Had to get the roots done today :smile1:

I was checking out the chimp fobs, lol! I'm still hing up on the robot. I need to renew my search efforts.

See??? I am back with my people!!! I have been watching that one forever too!!!

I didn't think it looked that bad, I just couldn't pull the trigger because I was too hung up on the mineral one. There's also one in tan nubuc here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251728803515?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

sigh.

that's my thought too. a little surface dirt is one thing, but that bag looks to have larger issues.

well, thanks, whateve!t

maybe some brave soul will buy it and prove us wrong.

or maybe seller will lower price to where it would be worth gambling.

or--maybe the horse will talk!

I ran across a badly listed one today or last night. I'll try to remember the search term .

Hello dear! Well, rehabbing came to a screeching halt because there was so much gong on with the band - I am the treasurer and they were keeping me hopping! Things are quiet for now, but we have the jazz festival coming up so I'll be a little busy then. My UA stew is patiently waiting for her transformation to be finished, but I got her a twin so she's not too lonely. :smile1: The video finally came out at the beginning of November, 4 days of filming for 1 minute and 30 seconds! http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/explore/cookies

Hope the fires didn't get too close to you!

Cool video...gosh you gals are ambitious! Looks like lot of fun :)

I am rehabbing a white Hippie Legacy 10325 the same white color as the one in the picture. Does anyone know what color the stitching is, or have a catalog picture of it? I can't tell, the links picture is too small and the other ones online are used so the stitching color may just be because of dirt. The brown and black ones have white stitching so I am trying to find out if the white has white or an accent color. I would hate to clean the heck out of the stitching and it was actually tan or something else.:roflmfao: Thank you :smile1:

i think i may be late to the show again, lol, but:

am noticing that the bay, in addition to showing you "suggested--or other buyers looked at" items on the bottom of listings, is now showing the same style or model item-at least with coach-

you look at the blue nubuc bag referenced above, you'll see pics of a tan and a reddish one as well.

the machines are getting smarter....

or i've been missing this for untold eons....

Hi there, I have the White Legacy Hippie and can confirm that the stitching is mainly a light tan/cafe au lait type color, although in a couple of areas it's also a darker shade of brown. Here's a pic. of the stitching around the turnlock area....

Thank you!!! Okay, I won't scrub at them, my bag has some light tan and some brown.

This bag was really dirty when I got it so I kept thinking the stitching might be brown from dirt but now I know it is suppose to be that way. Thanks again :D:D:D

Just purchased a periwinkle Madison Hailey for $37.66 on eBay. The auction listed that the corners were worn and had detailed pics but I figured for that price I could give it a whirl to fix it.
I used Martha Stewart acrylic paint and blended the cord of hydrangea purple and jet stream to get the periwinkle color.
I am really happy with the results .

First pics are from auction showing the wear.

Next pics are after painting.

And the paints I used.
