Thanks for asking. The fires were a little too close for comfort, about 15 km away. Our friends in a nearby town were evacuated but it didn't reach them. Luckily the weather changed at day 6 and it poured down which helped put them out.

Thanks! It was fun but hectic. The neighbors kept walking their dogs so they could walk by the house to see what was going on. We had some tired dogs that week. :smile1:

I have lots of "befores" - in fact one just arrived today. I'll post her up later - she's whateve's fault :graucho:. Hopefully I'll have some "afters" soon!

I think you have the fancier version of my washer.

You will cry when you hear what I paid for the set - $60 for the pair plus free shipping! It was the starting price, no one else bid on it. The pics were terrible, so I was a little worried about the condition she might be in, but it was much better than expected. No major flaws, just a little dirty on the inside. The bag is a bit yellower than the wallet. Here's the listing:

just don't know though. had excellent luck in washing a lovely grape sonoma, but not sure that lightning would strike twice. the suede on this one has issues.

would you give it a go for the price? or keep looking??

I have been watching that one forever and have been afraid to take a chance. I don't have good luck with nubuc. I would also worry about the brown bleeding onto the nubuc so I don't know how well it would wash.

that's my thought too. a little surface dirt is one thing, but that bag looks to have larger issues.
