I have a few questions before I bid: Is this poor bag beyond hope? I get thirsty just looking at this! Any guesses on the true color?
It probably is possible to 'rescue' this bag. I'd scrub it with acetone to even out the colour then dunk it and condition like mad. Several coats of Leather Therapy, Obenauf's and finish off with Black Rock. It may have been brown or BT, but you never know it might even be tabac.

Wow that MK clutch is so cute and a great bargain. I've had a few MK bags that I've sold on, and to be honest I haven't been overly impressed with the quality (spoilt by vintage Coach), but that one looks good.
I have a couple of MKs. I'm in love with my suede one, which was made for factory stores. The quality is fantastic. It surpasses Coach in some ways. It has a very clever way to hide the handles if you want to carry it by the long strap. And it has 5 inside pockets, rather than the 3 that recent Coach bags have.

The main reason I haven't bought any MK recently is that I hate the metal logo they have been putting on the front of their leather bags.

Thanks Joodlz. I've been far too busy - buying bags. My rehab pile is getting out of control so I really have to get a production line happening! Now the weather has warmed up they don't take so long to dry.
Haha, I know exactly how you feel! I'm adding at least one rehab to my pile a week, but I only allow myself to have one drying at a time and it's taken a couple days so far for my pocket purse to dry.

What not to do. I left the rolled up strap of this Classic Pouch on the suede side of the flap after conditioning and it soaked through to the other side! Now I have to re-dunk and hope I can even out the colour. :nogood:

I must have bought the low end MKs! One of them was a jacquard signature satchel with a double zipper. The zippers were both really stiff and the silver tone hardware was chipped. I found several others on ebay and they all had the same issues with the hardware. Another was a really nice tote. The leather was generally good except on the straps which had split and stretched.
