I’ve been busy my Coach rehab friends!😅😅 I got this Rogue 25 (for $32 on Goodwill Finds 🫨) in the chalk color. I had to repair the red edging because it was pulling off. And touch up some areas on the thick seams of the bag. Angelus Leather Paint in the color “CREAM” is the perfect match, just a hint warmer, but it’s 99% spot on to Coach’s “CHALK” color. I placed cardboard inside both sides to help retain its shape. This Rogue “puddled” quite a bit versus my black Rogue 30 (which is quite structured).

The red edging looks great!

Cleaning this bag, I feel like Tobias (Arrested Development) when he colored himself blue for the Blue Man Group. The polish rubs off when wet. It’s awful and everywhere. 🥴😭🥹

Hello friends! I’m looking for advice on how to repair a Sheridan Charleston Bag. The bag seems pretty dry and I plan to wash it up and moisturize the leather. Where the strap attaches to the bag it is ripped. I’m not sure if there is a fix. This would be my first rehab and authentic find! I appreciate and open to all suggestions. Thank you in advance as well 😊

I use this product on small rips in leather: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076DJQN5R I'd do the "wash it up" first and the cementing last.

Another challenge for my creativity! This bag is a 9791, from Costa Rica. Large daypack. Looks to be in great shape, except!! I got this bag VERY cheap, because one of the backpack straps is completely missing, and it's other part attachment is coming unsewn, as well. So, here's a survey for the hive mind. Would you:

1. Get a new strap for it and make it look as close to original as possible
2. Replace both straps and make it upcycled and colorful in some way.
3. Remove the one ripping part and turn it into a one-strap shoulder bag.
4. Remove both straps and use the bag as a top handle bag and/or create a new way of carrying, like a detachable crossbody strap.
5. Something else.

I'd do #1 or #2.

I'd go with 2 or 3- provided you can erase the traces of the other strap.
