I thoroughly enjoy your peregrinations thru the rehabs.
Thanks! I learned a new word. Peregrinations (journey, often meandering). Yes! Some of these rehabs are very meandering. I start, I stop, I abandon them, I come back months later. I probably have 20 in process at various stages of work. This is why I'm so happy when I actually finish one and call it good.

Sounds heavenly!

I feel seen. Thank you for sharing this.

I would condition it normally with CPR and possibly Blackrock. Burnishing usually means buffing it until the leather is super shiny. Your bag doesn't look especially shiny like my Bleeckers. Coach also called bags burnished when the color was applied intentionally uneven, darker at the edges. I think that is what they meant by calling your bag burnished. More opinions are welcome. You could always test conditioner on a hidden place before doing the whole thing.
Thanks so much! I applied CPR and buffed a bit, no 'damage' has been done so hopefully overtime she'll perk up! And thanks for the info about burnished leather!

This rehab is done. A pro leather worker needs to do some more work on it. I've done what I can do! (the kisslock pocket needs some leather retucked, and one of the leather strap attachments is cracking, needs replaced.)

In the mean time, I got this Canterbury (1994) in the color bone. I cleaned the bag, but it still looks kinda dirty in some areas.

Any suggestions to tackle this without lifting the color and/or making spots on the bag?

If I need to touch it up, does anyone have a suggestion to a dye that’s closest to Coach’s bone color?

Okay I am sad that this has happened to you, but can I Like that you have a channel??? Wait make that Love that you have a channel …
Thank you!😃🎉 I’ve been having fun with mostly shorts. But I’ve done 3 videos so far unboxing D&B, and a review of my Henry’s Leather Foldover bag (handbag line by Peter Dooney).

RE: Stewardess - The moment the bag emerged from the box I knew. I KNEW!!!! 😭😭😭 That shoe polish sheen and the tacky feel of the strap.

I’ve been busy my Coach rehab friends!😅😅 I got this Rogue 25 (for $32 on Goodwill Finds 🫨) in the chalk color. I had to repair the red edging because it was pulling off. And touch up some areas on the thick seams of the bag. Angelus Leather Paint in the color “CREAM” is the perfect match, just a hint warmer, but it’s 99% spot on to Coach’s “CHALK” color. I placed cardboard inside both sides to help retain its shape. This Rogue “puddled” quite a bit versus my black Rogue 30 (which is quite structured).
