Was this a vintage bag or a bag made of the newer glovetanned leather? I guess either way my answer is the same. For maintenance, I’d recommend something a little lighter than cpr - Bickmore 4 or Bick 4. Both are also mild cleaners so you don’t need a designated one for touch ups. SA’s are required to plug the Coach brand.
It’s the newer one made of glovetanned leather. Thanks for the recommendations.

This authenticated Bleeker 9310 (thank you, @Hyacinth! :flowers:) has been dunked, reshaped and partially conditioned (still Renapur to go). I couldn't wait to post her, she's such a beauty!!!

I'm wondering if the colour is saddle? I was expecting camel, but the hardware is brass. She's significantly lighter than BT and not completely dry.

(How someone with OCD straightens attached straps after the dunk)

Every stain disappeared as well as the wrinkling on that one side! :yahoo:

Thanks for looking!
Saddle wasn't a Bleecker color. It is probably camel. I don't know if they used nickel with these because there is really no visible hardware, just the zipper and hangtag chain, which can be changed. The catalog photos I have don't specify nickel hardware for the camel color. I don't think they were too careful about what color zipper they used.
Thank you for clarifying that, whatev! I absolutely love camel although I know many don't.
Whateve might remember, I bought a camel Bleecker Basket Tote a few years back that was in rough shape. It started out the yellow-y color but with several apps of various conditioners, it changed to a darker hue like yours and lost it’s yellow quality. I think the Creed still looks yellow.
It has a brass zipper. I agree with whateve on the hardware.

Wanted to update about the dye job on my Willis. It turned out a bit darker than I anticipated but I'm still really happy with the results. It's a plum color.. I used a product called Jacquard Acid Dye. I mixed the colors "Hot Fushia", "Jet Black" and "Purple" to create the color in the pics.

Do not be alarmed by the term acid! There are NO harsh acids! The only reason they call it that is because you add vinegar and that is what sets the dye. You don't have to worry about sealing and there's no dye transfer.

I love this stuff! Before and after's:

Your bag is stunning. The color reminds me of those Aigner bags which were so popular in the early 80’s.

The before wasn't at all bad, just some minor indentations. The after is lovely. What a special bag the Ranch is!

Could someone please remind me of the Ranch's history? Is it correct Coach only made them a couple of years? Thanks so much! :flowers:

(I'm having to make some tough decisions about which bags to part with in order to make a small dent in the purchase of a heat pump. It was too hard on me and my pets without air conditioning during the heat domes last summer.)
