Coach Rehab and Rescue Club

But seriously, as far as body mechanics go - keep your elbow locked into your side and only use your forearm to do the work. This seems to lessen the strain on my shoulders and elbows for me. Put on some System of a Down and buff to the beat! That’s what I do! :happydance:
(I also have to wear an elbow brace - the kind for tennis elbow - this may also help)
I will follow your advice! Locking the elbow will hopefully lessen the fatigue!
Thank you x

Very happy that, although I prefer BR, my improvement at buffing has caused Renapur (and Chambers, a local product) to bring out the same glow.

I tested BR on one casino and Renapur on the other two, but just realised I should've tried Chambers too for a third direct comparison:lol: this is good as I can enjoy my Renapur and not feel annoyed that it's not BR(£££££):amuse: sorry for the terrible photographs but if I zoomed out any more you'd see even more mess:nuts::nuts::nuts: that random mask is for when I use steel wool.

They look amazing!! Rehab goals

I've been thinking about making my collection a bit smaller... I started off thinking about getting rid of 4 bags but now I think I'm just gonna get rid of one  It's a station bag which is the first bag I purchased when I started collecting. (Well first authentic bag, as the first bag I actually bought was a really obvious fake:facepalm:) Anyway... I didn't know much about these bags back then and when I purchased it I was thrilled, but looking back at it now, I'm pretty sure its been heavily painted, not sure with what. It feels pretty stiff and I'm just not a big fan. I have a couple ideas on what to do but I'm not sure what's best. I could:
A) sell it as is - it doesn't look bad, just doesn't feel great.
B) I could dunk it (?) I have no idea what this would actually do.. I guess what I'm hoping for is that the paint would eventually fall off and I could see what I'm working with and maybe restore it myself. Unless dunking it after being heavily painted would make things worse? If anyone has any experience with dunking a painted bag, I'd really appreciate some advice.
C) I dunk it, it doesn't make it worse but the paint doesn't come off, condition to maybe soften it? and then sell it (or ends up being wonderful and I keep it )
D) Just condition
E) Better option that I haven't thought of that someone would like to add

I wouldn't bother wasting your time rehabbing, but do say, in your listening, that you think it was altered in some way, but not sure with what.

So I’m in the process of rehabbing a Jade City, and there’s some color loss on the front pocket from years of wear and I assume BR is the best for this? I saw @LadaZuri post about it but I’m wondering what the general consensus is. I’ve never used it before and I’m wondering how well it works on all colors.

I would try BR.

I have a similar dilemma. I have a bag I love except that it is too faded on the front and back. The sides look gorgeous! I can't decide whether I should just sell as is or attempt to recolor and maybe get it good enough so I'll want to keep or maybe ruin it in the attempt. I'm afraid the color will be really hard to match.

How awesome to have found a jade City! The jade Kimball I worked on turned out well, but I've accepted I may have to colour refresh it in the future if I use it quite a bit. You could always try BR first, and if you aren't completely happy, colour refresh as plan B.

What colour is it? I'd be tempted to colour refresh it if I loved the bag.

It's a 2005 Janice in a mystery blue. It's darker than my mystery Rambler's Legacy. It's like a dark teal, maybe federal blue. It isn't just that it is faded, the color kind of looks swirly, like when I conditioned, it redistributed the color in that pattern. I can't remember if it always looked like that, but more conditioning isn't helping. I did dunk it when I first got it. It also has a couple of grease stains on it I haven't been able to get rid of. I think I need to take it to a paint store to get a perfect match rather than try to mix something myself.

I know! I was so excited when I saw the listing but I thought that the color loss wouldn’t be as bad in person and it seems worse. I’ve ordered BR but I can imagine trying to find/make a paint that matches will be difficult.
