I remember seeing one in Ink before, but I wasn’t looking at the Tribeca line at that point! I can’t remember what the selling price was, but I’m sure the price now would be at least twice as much. I managed to score the Currant Shopper at $30; it was listed as a burgundy tote, and I could tell it was probably Currant due to the nickel hardware.
Nice! That's a beautiful color <3

I am waiting for someone here to MacGuyver this belt into a replacement strap!

I'll post pics of all the bags I've mentioned later today. It's about time for a good airing out anyway.
Here they are.... And I've just reminded myself how many bags I have now. I have another 14 in addition to these, not including the wallets and pouches. Considering that until about 4 years ago I had only had 3 bags ever, that's a lot!

The last couple pics are the Basics in my rehab pile. Ugh, both have some bad damage...

OMG is that camel? It's BEAUTIFUL!!!

Your Basics look great, I have burgundy and brown basics and they're in awful shape even after rehab:sad:.

Would somebody please advise?

When I used the BR on the first few pieces they were glowing and looking good. However, my green casino just absorbed the Renapur entirely so I tried BR and it's just absorbed that too.

Has anybody had that? The finisher not sitting on top and just sinking in. I had this happen with my first ever rehab and Renapur but I didn't question it at the time.

I think it is camel. It was really faded when I got it; I thought it was like a putty color. Nope! It rehabbed beautifully, as all my Tribecas have. The leather is so nice on them!

The brown Basic is the oldest. Look at that d ring! I love the color of the burgundy, but it has some piping damage. When they're my bags, I don't mind little things like that. And some of them became my bags because of those things. Lol. I won't sell them with holes or really messed up hardware. I do love the Basic; it's great for grab and go trips to the store and stuff like that. I like bigger bags for other uses.

Was is really saturated with conditioner before you did the oils? Probably, huh... I've had that happen, kind of, too. And then the bag afterward seems to show every little tiny surface scratch. It seems to happen with bags that start out pretty damaged or with a lot of patina... I think it might just be the leather? It's not always the same. I've rewashed one that did that. That helped, but I've only done that once, so idk if that's a reliable solution.

Thanks - no, the two bags I mentioned are in the best condition of my collection! :-s the green one looks fine - no scratches showing - but just looks like it never had any finisher applied to it - but I want it to glow!!! :( x

A camel bag I once rehabbed didn’t look great after Renapur and I eventually redunked it and started over. I used BR to finish it and it looked better IMO but still not as good as I had hoped. Applying a thinner, oily conditioner like Lexol or Leather Therapy can also help make bag shine. It doesn’t last as long as BR but you can apply it again when the bag starts to look dull.

Thanks Katev! I'll try LT if it doesn't improve. I just gave the back a buff and it started to shine up a bit and then I realised the bottom was still a little tacky and had some fibres stuck. I'll give it another day or so and then buff again - hopefully it'll look good! Xx

eta all this Camel talk is making me want another soooo much! Haha

I wonder if the secret is the amount of buffing? @Busykitty buffs until her bags glow.
