Looks great! Ahhh seeing all these green bags make me wanna impulse buy an expensive one already!! Gotta. Control. Myself. Now I know what the Hulk feels like![]()
Yesss!! St. Patty’s please!!!Wait it out! I only paid $60 cad for the carousel with shipping. My bottle green carnival was $140 cad but a lot of that was duties & shipping. I also have a multifunction wallet in bottle green. It’s my favourite vintage coach colour (although the currant willis Im getting might give bottle green a run for it’s money lol), I hope you find a good deal on something green soon! Sending you that St. Patrick’s day luck lmao![]()
Thank you. I’m heading fown to Tandy leather today. Will look for it.If it's British Tan, then Kiwi Leather Cream Polish (note this is ***not*** the hard shoe polish) is a perfect match, and it's easy to work with. I've used small amounts on a qtip to touch up worn piping.
Thank youShe turned out great![]()
I miss my exSO’s workshop and bottomless supply of tools, misc supplies, etc . . .@Lake Effect @whateve guess I’m in luck. My husband apparently has acrylic paint from his model car days. That is news to me![]()
Guys eh? I just told him I’m going to the dollar store tomorrow to get some acrylic paint, and boom - he brought out a full set of nice model car paint. Then he finally admitted he hasn’t done model cars since he was in his teens! Lol it’s definitely old paint...I miss my exSO’s workshop and bottomless supply of tools, misc supplies, etc . . .
Here are a few rehabs I’ve finished up recently - enjoy!
Green City Bag
Some of you weighed in on The Blob on the bottom that weirdly isn’t ink cause it doesn’t go through. Despite trying a few things (thanks @Coachaddict4020 for the idea for CPR scrubbing!), the Blob is only a little less intense than when I received the bag. But no matter - her shape is better, her color is more even, and her brass is sparkling, so I don’t much mind! She currently looks a little lumpy cause I’ve been carrying her for 2 weeks, haha. Happy belated St Patrick’s!

Mahogany (Mocha?) Prairie Bag
My first bag made in Mexico! The leather is gorgeous, and this was my first time doing the steel wool/Cape Cod polishing cloths routine on brass - GAME CHANGER. So happy to have this lovely bag decked out with a charm from @LunaSilver!

I found Saphir Juvacuir recolorant in medium brown to be a dead on match for BT. I actually bought it intending it for a deeper brown bag. But when it appeared lighter, I used it for a BT Compartment tote in rough condition and it looked great.
