Question: which is the best for corner scuffs on a black bag? The corners on my Station didn’t go back all the way to black after the dunk and much CPRing. I haven’t applied Renapur yet in case I end up doing any of the methods below. Thoughts? i need your votes please and thank you
1) shoe cream
2) acrylic paint + CPR
3) resolene

acrylic paint and cpr.

All our household wood is pressure treated though, even the lumber you could get from Home Depot. Should be okay to touch, just not great for gardening bulbs or tubers. (my husband just told me recently. He’s the gardener, I’m the eater )

I purchased regular wood planks for a project & they splintered horribly. Learned my lesson to only buy pressure treated in the future lol... yea, even if it was a cause for concern, there’s leather covering it to prevent skin contact with the wood so Im not worried about it!

Ok...Im being lazy so I dont have to double up on putting photos up. Iv started.

You just motivated me to rework on the Bleeker large flap bag. I think the same color as yours. Got it over a year ago, was quite dirty, after dunk still had some stubon stain marks here and there. I tried to cover those spots with paint & CPR mixture, but color didn't blend in well, so I put it away.
Just removed as much those paint as possible with acetone today, dunked again, those stains still stood out, was going to put into washing machine, but changed to hand wash in the sink, the leather soaked with water was almost as soft as fabric, and I hand washed it the same as if it indeed was fabric, lol. Surprisingly no damage done, and the stains lightened up now become bearable.
It is draining water right now.

If it is still stained after it dries, I might try zit cream. You could test it on a hidden spot first.

Edit: I have to correct my statement. Not ALL our house wood is pressure treated. You’ll know pressure treated when it’s green. That kind you see on railway ties and usually outside in the yard. The wood used in houses are usually kiln-dried. The pressure treated wood is treated chemicals such as chromium, copper and arsenic, aka “don’t even touch that sh*t”, according to our friend who works in the industry. But if it’s covered in leather, I think it should be fine.

The one in the coach bag is a mixture of green & white. Yea, the bag is now shaped back to perfection, Im not gonna mess with flipping it inside out & risk bending the handles so no worries on touching the wood lmao!

Horrible night time lighting but Im so happy with how well it re-shaped after a dunk:

eta: my dresser is white so when I focus on the bag, everything else washes out- I didn’t edit this picture lol

If you think you might have need of it for other bags as well, Saphir Juvacuir. I was willing to buy black and medium brown, $30 for both with shipping because I planned to use them on several bags.

Looks great! Ahhh seeing all these green bags make me wanna impulse buy an expensive one already!! Gotta. Control. Myself. Now I know what the Hulk feels like :wtf::loveeyes:

That's the kind I use, or the stuff Walmart sells.
Great! A trip to Dollarama tomorrow it is then

Saphir looks good too but I only got the large Plaza and Station in black. Possibly buying a black Prairie, too, if it’s authentic  the touch up shouldn’t take a lot though.

yours will come out so much better than mine. Its still got lots of marks and Ive given so much CPR but the leather is as hard as. Think it was the nail polish remover.
