I usually only dunk one at a time too. I don't have enough dedicated space to lay them to dry. I'm not motivated to rehab much anymore. I have a bag I've been painting for months. It probably needs another coat but I haven't gotten around to working on it.
Me too. I struggle with the timing on conditioning. If I dunk too many bags at a time then it becomes a chore to moisturize them all in a timely manner. However, if I'm stressed or struggling with anxiety I have found that moisturizing bags is very relaxing if I take my time and massage the conditioner in and use q-tips to get it in all the nooks and crannies. It can be very calming when it isn't a chore.

Hi everybody,

I recently dunked and cprd this bag, but there's some stubborn spots that won't go away.
It seems like old oil or something.
Does anyone have any tips to remove these?
Maybe dunk again but this time use undiluted dawn? Or just moisturise the entire bag with a more oily conditioner?
It's navy so I'm sightly worried about it darkening a lot.
Thanks for any and all advice!

Genuine Compact Pouch, made between 1990 and 1993
Well here she is...dunked, 2 coats of CPR, and a topcoat of Renapur (still waiting for my imported Blackrocks to reach me here in the UK). Her hardware polished up nicely indeed.

Thank you for all your help, I’m already torn about letting her go.

Stay safe everyone

At least part of that looks like mold. I think it is permanent.

My recent 3 rehabs. Periwinkle Helen (thank you @Coachaddict4020), Putty Small Plaza, Red Janice. They all came to me in very good condition, just normal wash, shape and conditioning. My cat always following me like a puppy.

I love when your cat makes appearances!!. The bags all look great! I had to pause my rehab pile because there’s no more room in my Ikea shelf to store them & I don’t know which bags to get rid of... I wanna keep them all! lol:panic:

What color/brand paint did you use? I think my Rambler's Legacy might be the same color.
I took a kitchen sink approach. Started with a special edition blue from Angelus, added in some old turquoise paint I had, bit of midnight green Angelus, touch of a beige Angelus and a bit of the blue Saphir recolorant. The blues were too blue and seemed to need some green.
