So I dunked my companion bag today (9300) and to say Im upset is an understatement. After pulling it out of the dunk, I noticed the edges were peeling off. I looked closer and a previous owner (won’t accuse the seller as she could have purchased the bag from a thrift store and not known) had painted the edges with a black rubbery material similar to resolene but not the right texture. Also the dunk uncovered a nail polish stain on the front.
Would you guys peel the rubbery stuff off and try to condition the edges and try to fix the nail polish stain or should I open a return case? I paid $116 with duties and shipping thinking I was getting a made in nyc bag with no fading on the corners. Now, under the rubbery coating, I can see there is fading and the stain so I feel like its not worth what I paid. Not really sure what to do...
