Are you lovely rehabbers who are receiveing new-to-you bags these past few weeks letting them sit for a few days before you start on them, especially if they came to you from high coronavirus case states like NY or the surrounding area?
Dr Fauci said yes the virus can live for several days on surfaces, but by the end of the few days it would be an insignificant amount. He said to worry about people and doorknobs.

I have what I think is an irrational fear of getting the virus dusted up into the air around me by opening boxes and unwrapping plastic etc, even if I do it gently. I mean I know I wash my hands many times a day and DEF before I eat and I try to use utensils to eat versus my fingers. I know that it is near if not completely impossible to breath it in that way, or the experts would be warning us but something inside me just says yeah but WHAT IF? My mind says better safe than sorry, just be patient, open up boxes gently and slowly, unwrap gently and slowly, and don't touch anything with bare hands or lay it on anything I do touch and don't breath! And then let it sit for a few extra days.

New project! I purchased this green Whitney for something to do; I wasn't sure how much she'd improve but I'm not feeling picky right now:P I'm actually really happy so far.

First pic is bag still damp, second progress pic is today, fairly dry, after 3 rounds of CPR. Strap will need some major work that I'll probably be asking you all for help with later!
Anyone know what color this would be? I thought olive when I bought it but it's too deep and bright for that.
I believe the Lightweights green was called ivy.

I got a bag two days ago. When I saw it was on my porch, I filled my dunk container full of warm water already. I opened the packed, gave it a quick inspection and into the bath it went. Package went into the trash and the surface I temporarily set it on was disinfected.

Yes for Posh and Mercari it must be opened and inspected. I am trying to, number one, go on a ban, and number 2 only shop ebay right now for that very reason. I bought a cheap bag that I really only wanted for the hangtag but its from Mercari so I will have to take a risk on that one and open it immediately. Although I pretty much am done with purchases though, I now have all the styles and all the fobs I wanted so I am really just getting a last hangtag or so and then I should be good! Will just be enjoying my beautiful bags and drooling over everyone else's!
Wondering how many bags in total? If I got all the styles and colors I want, would be close to 100 bags. Far far away from there yet .

Oh man there is no way I could hope to have that many. Not only do I not have the space for even half that many, I am not all that great at accessorizing, nor do I go anywhere nice to even show them off. I have counted a total of 16 vintage coach bags. Four in red, three in british tan, I think four in black, a gray, an orange, a camel, a mohagany, and a lavender.

Awesome color combination.
