After a vinegar wipe down and a coat of CPR she's just beautiful!

Gorgeous! The vachetta really is great on this bag. I don't know if you have any other Ergo's from this line, but the vachetta is slightly heavier then others.

Alright- who else is going to join the Ergo revival club? :amuse::cool:

Thank you! Oh my gosh it's heavy. The feel of the leather is amazing. I was surprised after having the smaller glovetanned one 11285 how heavy this one is. I NEED the black pebble XL one now!

The Pocket Bag is finished...Love the colour and her leather has softened up so much. Still got a firm body which is great...wish I had a firm body. Ive been storing fat for the winter for 10+ years. Befores and afters.View attachment 4639350 View attachment 4639351

You are really good at shaping, all the bags you rehabed were reshaped perfectly.

Just would like to share the paint touch up experiment with the Carlyle, the bag had some top color loss, I mixed some red and black folkart acrylic paint, and thinned it with floating medium, then use a very small paint brush to touch up the top of each pebble of leather where the darker color was missing. The end result is not perfect but still significant improvement. It is hard to get the exact shade of color. Pictures are before (from eBay listing) and after .

Honestly its like if you hadn't shown the before pic, I'd have never noticed anything unusual about the after.
