There isn't much you can do for that. I would try to find some craft acrylic paint and paint over it. I don't know if the paint would stick to the PVC though. You might have to experiment to find a paint that would work.
I once used nailpolish to repair the edges of a similar bag, but the edges were high-gloss. Perhaps a matte varnish would work? I tried a bunch of samples on a sheet of cardstock until I found a good combo. Art stores sell acrylic medium, which is colourless but available in heaps of finishes. If you find a colour you like, perhaps you can add sheen after? I think that is easier than trying to find the right colour and finish at the same time.

ETA: Essie makes a matte clear nail polish. I only suggest nailpolish because it stuck, for me, on plastic that I had first painted with acrylic ( cheapo from the craft store). I bet you can get cheap matte nail polish as well. I used high gloss so I can't suggest a brand. Good luck!

I got a fake Willis from kijiji for $20 and decided to keep it. It was night time and lighting was dark at time of meeting the seller in downtown for pick up, my car was parked at place only allow 5 mins parking. I didn't even check the Creed untill got home. I contacted seller, she was very sorry, didn't know the difference of real and fake Willis, and offered me to return the bag. But for some silly reason I always avoid driving in downtown, so I decided to just keep the fake as a work bag. The top handle of the fake Willis is really ugly, it actually looks better without the handle. The pictures are fake and authentic Willis side by side
That's amazing. The fake is slightly wider, and the rivets on the strap....but I wouldn't have caught that either. Makes me think for sure my shipped bag is fake too. Same light stitching on a tan bag - I don't seem to find that anywhere else but we shall see!

I'm so curious now about the strap you removed. Are you thinking of replacing it with something else? Did you dunk the fake?

Yes I did dunk the fake and conditioned it. I removed the top handle and coach hangtag, because the handle was very poor made, also I don't want the bag resemble a Willis or any coach bag, so won't replace the handle at all. The fake bag leather is stiffer, but still durable thick full grain cowhide, good enough as a work bag (I work in all weather condition as a letter carrier, the bag is always sit in the mail delivery truck and subject to deep freeze in winter, extreme heat in summer).
I am embarrassed to show you the fake bag creed, but you probably will be interested to see it, the creed is such an obvious giveaway, there is no way anyone will be confused it with real one. I don't know why didn't I check the creed at time of buying.

That's really helpful, actually. It might save someone from buying a fake in the future. If it makes you feel any better, I once bought a bag that looked good in the photos, was authenticated, but arrived and had been coated in some kind of permanent colour coating. Nobody caught it - you can't touch a photo. Lol. So even with all the careful examination of photos before hand, you can still get a dud :)

Just bought this from eBay, looks like will be a nice bag after rehab, still waiting for authentication result, but decided to take the risk since it was BIN with 6 people watching. Pictures seems good as far as I can tell. Could someone tell me the style name of this bag? Thanks.

It's called a Roll Bag, style #9887, from the early 1990s.
