No I was dead serious, after those to die for jade Court's and they extraordinary Bleekers and miraculous rehab transformations I have seen on the last five pages I really didn't think she was all that special anymore. She is to me, I thought she had allready bin sold and then she showed up Sunday night price reduced plus a 15% coupon and free shipping and out the window flew the bag ban.

That is a very special bag, especially in red!

She is one of those that that gives you that pang in the stomach when you decide to wait just a little longer to see if the price goes down and then she is gone.I was so mad at myself, when she showed back up I just snached her.The next one up is twice as much and then it just goes up from there.
The Saddlery bag was on my HG list, I don't think I will ever find one in navy but I'm not in a hurry.

I clear it every few days after I look at the item and see if its what I want. The I purge...and the next day I have another 30 waiting to be looked at.....rinse and repeat.
I feel almost virtuous right now, only two bags on the list and both will wait till the new year, no thats a lie if a all black Montichello shows up and I don't miss her...

That's not good. I've read about sellers on the ebay forum who had to accept a return through GSP but it was unclear who paid for the shipping. I'm always worried that the GSP center will repackage my item not as carefully as I did. I don't know if the buyers ever get my thank you notes that are enclosed.

In my experience as a buyer the GSP centre does not repackage the item. It just slaps on a mailing label with my address and customs info. I have received thank you notes from sellers shipping with GSP so can confirm that!

I did once have to return a bag to a US seller due to SNAD (shipped with GSP). I had to get a quote from Canada Post so she could send me the money for the return shipping. I tried to ask eBay to give her the original shipping charge but eBay wouldn’t do it. And turns out the original shipping charge was much lower than what I paid. So I sent her the amount through PayPal but I wonder where the rest of it went....

Ohhh this is one of my pet peeves on ebay.I have left bags with a realy good price or even cheap sitting once I saw the shipping charges.I always feel the seller is dishonest, give me the real price you want for your bag and don't try to shaft me trough the back door.

The one with the rings is rare. It retailed for $528. I've always wanted one.
Whiskey isn't a Bleecker color. Every seller calls several colors that, but that is a Legacy color. The Bleecker large flaps came in two browns- British tan and rust, and a burgundy color called wine. I've had all three of these. Here is a picture showing all three, left to right, wine, rust, British tan.
Thank you for the Legacy color versus Bleeker color information *taking notes*
Shout out to @Catbird9 for tossing Walnut into the mix! With documentation.

I bought a bag once that had a $20ish shipping fee that I assumed was because it was a large tote bag. When I got the package, the printed label was for $11 and change. I ended up politely emailing the seller, asking her if I had missed something, between the fee and actual charge (and it was not spent on packing materials, trust me). Before you knew it, she had refunded paypal at least $10 or 11. In asking at the eBay forum, lol whateve and BB, they indicated, as best I recall, her listing might have been showing some default rate, or just incorrect setting.

It doesn't hurt to contact the seller. If the seller uses the shipping calculator, it doesn't take into account the times when it is cheaper to use flat rate packaging. Some sellers also list more than one option. You have to click on the shipping link to see all of them. Sometimes there is a cheaper option than the one that shows.

Sometimes buyers don't realize how much shipping actually costs! Since I live near the coast, it costs me a lot more to ship to the opposite coast than someone living in the middle of the country. If I can't cram it into a small enough box, I can run into the oversized package charge. I've had shipping costs go up over $40 if the package is considered oversized.

There we have it two sides of the same coin and I do see both points.I'm not one of those unreasonable buyers that nit picks everything to death and I can see a sellers point that sells me a large heavy object either calculating that in to the price or ask a higher rate for shipping.
I saw a lovely cream colored abbie the other day priced at ten dollars now I would have pounced on that in a minute but the seller wanted 34.95$ in shipping charges, we all know what the going rate on most abbies is so I ended up with a black abbie for fifteen dollars and six in shipping.
