Yes you can dunk and it should turn out beautiful!
Here’s my most dramatic before and after. I sent these pics to Thomas at Blackrocks and he posted them on his Instagram. Just goes to show what a rehab can bring back to life. I didn’t even know what color the bag was!!![]()
If you use a freight forwarding service to purchase on ebay, they won't cover SNAD because the freight forwarders could have altered things. If you use ebay's global shipping program, I believe you are covered.
Pretty bags...so pleased at the condition of the bucket bag.View attachment 4602617
I know, right?? I think I used 5+ coats of leather cpr. That stuff is magical! How in the world and where did that colour come from? so coool!!!!!
I paid $300 for the one with the brass rings in the strap. Huge mistake! I've never carried it once. It just sits in a dust bag in my dresser drawer.I paid US $160 and $80 for both of mine shipped. They were colors I really wanted - rust and wine. I had one in ink once. That one was $60 shipped.
I can only imagine what a rich brown it would be! Fingers crossed. Getting a bag in great condition completely spoils me! Please post when you are able. Btw and you may be aware, this came in a larger carry all size. But the lightweight leather is making me pause . . . would have to see it irl .Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Now that is a great idea! It looks lovely!
Hopefully my brown one looks in as good condition as the purple one.
I too have wondered what kind of recolorant would work. Am wondering if the sheen was almost like a semi-patent leather process.Gorgeous! I have this same bag but mine has faded badly. I am considering using a dye or paint but I am unsure, any suggestions?
I'm sorry, I didn't see your post until now. I have never dyed any bags so I don't have any suggestions. I wonder if it would dye the white stitching? Maybe that wouldn't matter if it is so faded that anything would help.Gorgeous! I have this same bag but mine has faded badly. I am considering using a dye or paint but I am unsure, any suggestions?
I am sure you and I are not alone in making pricey mistakes? choices? in bag shopping. I foolishly got caught up in a bidding war once upon a time and paid a lot of money for a few bags before I realized there were other bags that would come along. But the good news is moving forward, we find some fabulous bargains (cough cough estate sale leftoversI paid $300 for the one with the brass rings in the strap. Huge mistake! You're welcome! Yes, it darkened a bit because the bag was super super dry.love love love how the color darkened ever so slightly. sometimes I cant decide whether I want the bag to keep its current color but this is a useful reference! thank you for posting this @Aku_no_Hana !
I'm not sure of the colour...its very mustard.wow is that yellow? or camel? that helen is too die for. hard to find too ( or at least hard to find for international buyers) Im so jealous- sometimes I see good deals but the items ate only sold locally.
" item cant be posted to you" ebay says hahahhaha
