I don't regret buying the bag, just how much I paid for it. Like Whateve said, I was impatient. If I had just shopped around a little more I could have found it much cheaper. The one I bought is in like new condition and is flawless. That's wonderful, but as we all know one of the characteristics of burnished leather is that it scratches easily. Now I'm just scared to carry the bag. In hindsight, this is what turned me on to vintage Coach. These bags can take a beating and then can be restored to almost like new condition, depending on the abuse. I am not kind to my handbags and I don't want to have to worry about them. I don't overly abuse them but bags inevitably get dropped, scratched by keys, stained, rained on, contents spilled inside, etc. and with a vintage Coach I just shrug it off and dunk it. No problem!I am sure you and I are not alone in making pricey mistakes? choices? in bag shopping. I foolishly got caught up in a bidding war once upon a time and paid a lot of money for a few bags before I realized there were other bags that would come along. But the good news is moving forward, we find some fabulous bargains (cough cough estate sale leftovers). Finding a great bag, at any price is always fun. Now I just think a little before hand about what my limit is. I am trying to break a habit of browsing listings, late at night, on a tablet . . ,
Are you interested in carrying the bag in the drawer again? Maybe you need some time to get reacquainted ? Just a thought . . .
