Hello,
For vintage Coach leather bags, would you spray Colonill to protect them from water marks? (Waterproof spay)
I have seen so many of you dunking the bags in water and I am not brave enough to do it yet.

Many thanks in advance
Xxx
No. There is no need. If you condition well, water will just bead up or dry without leaving spots unless it gets soaked, and if that happens the best thing to do is to dunk and get it evenly wet.

hello all.
need some advice before I pull the trigger on a 9063. Im hopung to get one for my mom for xmas. sadly I can only buy from ebay since I live in Singapore.

this is a brown one on ebay. there seems to be some scuffing on the piping throughout the top of the bag and the handles.

will I need to paint over this? do u guys think this would peel? any issues that should make me pass on this one?

She is! It was such a challenge to get her to figure it out though. I had to buy a sheet of vinyl flooring to put over my area rug and I had to remove all of her blankets so that the only soft location was her hay filled litter box. She finally got it and now she can have a small fleece blanket in her play pen and she won't soil it. It took 4 months to litter box train her. My male came home litter box trained at only 8 weeks old, I never had a problem with him. That was pure luck. Here they are: the fawn colored one is my doe, Butterscotch Schnapps and the gray one is my buck, Gray Goose. They're Netherland Dwarf bunnies. What kind of bunny do you have??? Do you have pics?View attachment 4573729

They are adorable! My bunny died several years ago. He was a sweetie. He loved my golden retriever, followed him everywhere. I think he may have thought the dog was a female bunny. My bunny was the size of my dog's snout.

@katev has a bunny too. She posts pictures of her sometimes with her purses.

Your bunnies are so beautiful and I love their cute names!

You can see my Netherland Dwarf rabbit called Honeybunny in my avatar. She was a breeze to litter train. She has a section of the basement as her living quarters and I just waited to see which corner she preferred to use and put the litter box there. She caught on quickly and started using it all the time. I've had a few bunnies that were harder to litter train than others, in general I have found the female rabbits easier to train then the males - just in my experience.

Be careful before you allow it to free range in your home because even after you get them litter trained, bunnies like to chew and they may damage furniture or carpets - and if they decide to chew on an electrical cord - that can be very bad! This one is pretty good about not chewing our stuff but we only let her free range when we are around to keep an eye on her.

Rabbits are great pets!

Hi,
Is there a special way to remove pen marks? I have a stick to remove it but when I used it previously on a different bag, it just bleached the surrounding area and did very little with the mark.

I have received a vintage leather bag today from Ebay, the seller never mentioned pen marks on the back of the bag. The pictures were quite grainy and the you can only see it in person.
Am I to fussy that I want to return it? I kind of think the seller is being dishonest! He/she hasn't got back to me yet.
Any advice would be appreciated. Xxx

I would definitely return. If the seller doesn't respond, open up a return request, not as described. Sometimes ink can be removed without damaging the bag but usually it can't. Usually you get the result you did, bleaching the surrounding area.

That doesn't look bad to me. A bath and conditioning should be all it needs.

Thank you. I will if the seller doesn't reply in 8 days (I think that is Ebay time frame).

Soft and slouchy . . ,
Thanks, @Lake Effect! Hope mine will look at least somewhat nice... That picture is an inspiration! My magenta (?) hoversack needed cleaning in the first place, and on top of that the USPS delivered a torn package soaked in dirty water. Looks like it was dropped into (and even spent some time in) a puddle of dirty water. Now it's a total mess - surprised it didn't get soaked through to mess up the legacy lining as well... The good thing is OfferUp immediately gave me a full refund plus cost of shipping, so at least I won't feel bag if rehab fails!
