That's not uncommon. Was the bag completely dry before you put it on? Did you wipe it with a paper towel after you put it on? Either way, don't worry, it will dry soon and the tackiness will go away.Question for everyone. How do you know when you have used enough conditioner? Because last night I used Blackrock for the first time and it was still sticky/tacky three hours after I applied it. I applied it as "sparingly" as I could, too.
Edit: It's still a little sticky, and it's been 18 hours.

No, I'd wait a few days until it's completely dry and you've buffed it.It was dry when I started applying, and I did wipe it with a towel. I'm glad this will go away. What I want to know also is if I should use any more Blackrock? My gut says "no".

Follow your bliss!Being very new to this I also read the instructions very carefully, started out with a sponge. It drove me nuts, pitched the sponge and switched to a micro fiber cloth.I'm much happier with a cloth.![]()
It sounds like you didn't wipe it good enough. You have to buff with the paper towel. Once it gets tacky, it is too late to do that. In my quest for vintage, I found a couple of like new bags for $50 and under. I found a like new red Pocket Bag, with slight fading, and my offer was accepted for $80 . It seemed like a lot of $, after paying around $20 to 30 for bags. But now I appreciate what a deal it was.
Good luck in your quest for a Red!
Yes, it is definitely worth paying $$ for the rarer ones. But I would probably look around and be patient to find something that looks like new if I’m paying $200-400.
I have only dunked Darwin and washed a nappa bag in washing machine. Sorry not much help with NVT experienceThanks @whateve for the link to this thread.
Does anyone has experience washing a NVT in Oak by Mulberry? I'd like to buy a pre-loved but they are often quite dirty... or the price is almost same than in the stores after regular discount...
