Does anyone has experience washing a NVT in Oak by Mulberry? I'd like to buy a pre-loved but they are often quite dirty... or the price is almost same than in the stores after regular discount...

Question for everyone. How do you know when you have used enough conditioner? Because last night I used Blackrock for the first time and it was still sticky/tacky three hours after I applied it. I applied it as "sparingly" as I could, too.

Edit: It's still a little sticky, and it's been 18 hours.

That's not uncommon. Was the bag completely dry before you put it on? Did you wipe it with a paper towel after you put it on? Either way, don't worry, it will dry soon and the tackiness will go away.

It was dry when I started applying, and I did wipe it with a towel. I'm glad this will go away. What I want to know also is if I should use any more Blackrock? My gut says "no".

It sounds like you didn't wipe it good enough. You have to buff with the paper towel. Once it gets tacky, it is too late to do that. All you can do is wait.

What happened was that I applied it and put it aside. Then I read the directions and wiped it. After that, hours later, it was tacky. Then I checked it about an hour ago and it was just a little tacky. I buffed it just now and it's even less tacky.

I guess waiting now is all I can do.

In my quest for vintage, I found a couple of like new bags for $50 and under. I found a like new red Pocket Bag, with slight fading, and my offer was accepted for $80 . It seemed like a lot of $, after paying around $20 to 30 for bags. But now I appreciate what a deal it was.
Good luck in your quest for a Red!

Yes, it is definitely worth paying $$ for the rarer ones. But I would probably look around and be patient to find something that looks like new if I’m paying $200-400.

Yes. This. I save my $200+ purchases for new bags or things. If I gotta rehab it, I try to go $50 or below. My next rehab project will be a $58 bag, so maybe a bit above 50 in some cases. Lol
