You know, just for the heck of it, I wrote to Coach to ask for a new turnlock for my Willis, as the one I have now has a few scratches on it. All they did was send me instructions on how to send my bag to their own repair facility. :(

I guess if I really wanted one, I could order it from eBay.

If I may....
For those of you that are really invested in rehabbing vintage Coach, I would advice to look on Ebay for lots of tags for sale, yes... some sellers are ridiculous on their prices, but others seem to be very reasonable. I was looking for a red tag once and found one that they were asking $18 plus shipping, sorry no... then I found a lot of 5, 1 red, 2 blacks, 1 cream and 1 brown all with the chain, $25 and free shipping, of course I got them and they have become handy to have in reserve.

It looked like ink, but I’m not 100%. It got most of this unknown stain off as well which did behave much more like ink. The cleaner is worth a shot if your hopeless lol. I got a sample pack a while back on
But, has anyone tried mothers to shine hardware? I have had amazing results with it the last couple of days

Yep. And even twenty dollars can be a bit much sometimes.

My turnlock seemed "scratched", but I wasn't convinced they really were scratches. Good thing I decided to remove the turnlock and put in a bit more elbow grease with the Brasso. I eventually got those "scratches" out. They were tarnish marks! I'm feeling relieved, because I thought I'd have to put another $20 into this rehab project!
