Thank you @whateve . I took the towels out when it was half dry and then slathered on some leather CPR. When i got home last night, the bag was dry so i put a little black rock on it. I have a hard time with the black rock - no matter how small amount of the product i put on my finger, my first touch to the leather results in an a darker/shiner spot then the parts i smooth around with my finger. Not sure that makes sense. Either way, i will take your advice and put more CPR on it before i do any more BR.

Thanks!
If the Blackrocks is making a very dark spot, that seems to me that you need more CPR. Once the bag has absorbed as much conditioner as it can, the bag won't darken as much from the Blackrocks. I like to buff between conditioner coats. Remember when you use Blackrocks, buff off with a paper towel after application. Don't wait; it will become sticky if there is too much left on the bag.

I just received this backpack as a present, (bought preloved since this style is no longer in stores). But I noticed that the leather on the front pocket has noticeable creases and is much more malleable than the rest of the backpack. Is there any way to fix this ? Or is it something that I just have to accept, I love the style of the backpack but I don’t love the way the leather looks/feels on the front pocket.

I don't think there is anything you can do. You can create a frame of sorts that fits inside to help it keep its shape. That is the only thing I can think of. Ideally I would use plastic but you could possibly use cardboard.

Hmm I’ll have to look into an insert, besides from that one issue the backpack is in amazing condition so I think it’s a keeper. Thank you for the speedy reply @whateve [emoji4]

Hi guys, I have a bag that has this mildew spots. I can't remember.. do these go away after a bath? Or will it always be there even after washing and conditioning? View attachment 4240213
I can't tell if that's an active mold colony. If so, you have to kill it with a strong dose of vinegar, then wash and condition. Even after you get rid of the mold, the stains it leaves in the leather generally won't go away.

Bummer. It's not active. I guess I'll bathe it anyway and find out what happened. Hopefully it looks less whitish.

I had one bag that was left with spots that were hard and a little indented from mold. It was a black bag so I don't know if they were a different color.
