I don't have a problem as long as I wipe it off immediately with a paper towel. I only do a small area, then wipe, then do another area.
I did the "I'm going to let it sit overnight " and I guess because the leather is older it took it differently. In other news, I used a suede eraser on the inside where I got conditioner all over the inside flap and it cleaned it up beautifully.

I’d get in touch with the manufacturer of the conditioner you used and ask for their advice.

Blackrocks never works well with the let it sit overnight approach.

Hello to the very talented and always helpful ladies of this forum.

I hope you can give me advice on how to fix or at least improve this leather. I had success before with metallic paint mixed with the leather conditioner, to improve edges and parts of trims like this, but this purse has the very shinny almost mirror like finish, I already checked craft paint, but none of the metallics come close to it.
Any suggestions? Any other product I could use? TIA

The first picture is how it should be, the second the corner I want to fix.

Once I colored a metallic strap on a Glam with Elmers Painters metallic marker pen. It was a long time ago. I don't know if they make them anymore.

Anyone know where I can find a turn lock piece to repair this anywhere? Or should I just trash it? It looks like the male piece was unscrewed till it came off. On both sides. [emoji3525]View attachment 4245651

It used to look like this: View attachment 4245658
Looks like a Parker. I see so many of these on ebay with broken turnlocks. They are just decorative - don't actually turn at all. I think people bumped them into things and they broke. If they are both broken, at least they match. Maybe you could glue something decorative on top. Only you know they are supposed to look like turnlocks.

Your last sentence made me chuckle. I found other metal finishes but not rose gold. [emoji3525]
