Thank you for posting this! I have an old lexington python watch that I'll try that product on. Some of the scales are similarly lifting.
Posting my results with Saphir Reptan Creme here in this thread. It worked really well! I'll have to notice how long the treatment lasts before it needs to be done again. I probably won't take these bags out until fall since they are my dark color bags. Here are two before and two after photos on my regular sized black rogue.

Wow amazing results!

I have only conditioned one genuine snakeskin bag, the Coach Parker Exotics Small Flap Bag, 13417 RS FX (rosegold and fuchsia) from the Resort Collection. It was made by Coach in Italy in 2008 out of Karung snake from SE Asia.

I purchased DYO Reptile Conditioner after doing some research on the Hermes, Bottega and other forums and it has worked great. The scales get a little dry and rough after awhile, but the bag responds well to conditioning; see the link below for more information.

gorgeous bag! I love the handle! I have never seen one like this! Glad the conditioner is helping keep it for years to come!

This bag is so beautiful!!!!!!

It really is a gorgeous bag and my only true exotic. I won it on an auction for $150 but it had originally sold for $900 when the bag was released so I was very lucky to get it.

My pink bag is called fuchsia but it also came in beautiful blush color, see pics below. There is also a photo of Eva Longoria carrying the blush bag.

I need opinions. To dunk or not to dunk?

I gifted a BT one to my sister. She needed two. Don’t ask. I know she wants to be able to tell them apart quickly, so I picked up this one in black. Looks like it was stuck in a visor. I’d like to get that out.

How is it constructed? My Coach Hugo Guinness Glasses Case is made of aged vachetta. It doesn't have any cardboard inserts and it has kept it's shape well for years. If yours doesn't have cardboard then go ahead and dunk it.

Or if it has cardboard but you got it cheap - then go ahead and take a chance. I have a Kate Spade fabric messenger bag that I've owned for years. It has a large cardboard insert in the bottom but the bag had gotten dirty so I decided to give it a bath, it dried just fine and the cardboard and the card kept its shape.

I have a question for team-rehab: How can you tell if a bag has been shoe polished? It's a black bag, and they always seem shinier in general than the lighter colored bags....so what are the giveaways that a bag has had polish put on it?

I’m going to proceed conservatively. Maybe a light spray of water and then conditioning. I’ll update! Thanks everyone!

Look along the edges next to the binding. Sometimes you can see where the polish didn't reach. Look for the natural pores in the leather, the shoe polish will obscure them. Take a cotton ball with a little acetone on it and rub a spot where it won't show (like the bottom of the bag). Black residue may come off. Dunk the bag. The water may turn unusually black. When the bag dries, it won't look or feel like what you've come to know as genuine glove-tanned cowhide.

One of the decorative brass buttons fell off of a front pocket on a Poppy MO926-14570 I have. Is there anyplace I can get a replacement for it? Aside from the button, it's in great shape. No luck on Ebay. It was given to me, so going through Coach isn't an option. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Not really a rehab question, but you guys always have great ideas, so thought I'd give it a try! Thank you!
