Lol! I think I may have put too much on aswell, and its a little sticky but! Well see.Nice! I just found a vintage rambler in this color to rehab. I'm excited.
I find blackrocks a bit scary having put on too much in an attempt to revive a very far gone bag. I have learnt less is more!
I think if you go over it with paper towels you can get off the excess a bit, then buff the hell out of it.Lol! I think I may have put too much on aswell, and its a little sticky but! Well see.
Maybe let it sit overnight and then wipe and buff? I know this isn't the same but recently I had some wood cutting boards I needed to moisturize and used Boos Board moisturizer. It was pretty wet looking after I applied thinly with my fingers. I let it sit overnight to soak in and was amazed how much absorbed (or evaporated!) and then buffed with a paper towel in the morning. I've only used Blackrocks once and can't remember if I left it on for a while or what the directions even say. I haven't rehabbed any bags but have a few I'd like to some day get to! I admire all the work everyone does here and how addictive it seems. Must give you great satisfaction to see how you can make it come back to life!I think if you go over it with paper towels you can get off the excess a bit, then buff the hell out of it.
It's very hot in my house right now so that could be a factor too. But it started with one $5 Salvo find that I thought, meh, maybe I'll fix it up, now I'm 5 bags deep! What the heck! I do love when i get finished and it looks like a completely different bag.Maybe let it sit overnight and then wipe and buff? Two filthy girls. Have never rehabbed a Berkeley Crescent but we'll see if i can revive the suede.
I have a small soft brass suede brush that works great! You could probably even use one from a hardware store as long as it’s soft brass or soft plastic, like a nail brush.
