I just finished my first rehab. I bought a vintage black Willis from ebay. It wasn't in the best shape but I think I got it in pretty good shape. Here's how it came out. I took pictures of when I first took it out the package, after bathing it, conditioning it the first time and then the final result.

I need help. This wallet has surface marks that won’t go away. This is the result after three coats of Leather CPR and two coats of Blackrock. Is there a way to get it looking better? They aren’t visible straight on, just at an angle.

wallets are thinner leather and don't respond as well as the thicker leather of purses. I've never found anything that helps with this, especially on newer wallets like this.

Well, I bought the most beautiful jacket. Its a pale baby blue suede and it's shearling and it was super pricey. And of course, I spilled oil on it the first day I wore it. :(

I took it to my local leather shop and they said, they can send it out and fix it. Yay! They said they retan it. They say they do this bags all the time with color transfer and it works.

Has anyone done this. Does it really work. I had never heard of it, but if it saves my jacket, I will be very excited.

No I haven't done it. It sounds expensive. But I am a cheapskate! I would probably try to fix it myself and ruin in further in the process ;).

Has anyone ever used Obenauf;s oil on the edges and inside of a reverse suede (think Berkeley) bag? I just bought a super dry pre Creed suede bag and it needs some serious moisture after its bath. I have already done the edges and inside of the flap with leather cpr and while it seems much better already from that I'm wondering if it doesn't need a longer, more heavy duty treatment. I also wondered if I oil the inside of the bag would it possibly seep through and show on the suede as oil stain? I'm thinking not as if it did that, that would mean when you oil the outside of a regular bag it would show up on the inside, which it doesn't IME. I rubbed the cpr on with my fingertips and managed easily not to get it on the suede so I would do the same with the oil.
